The teaching staff, for the most part, is a composite of certificated teachers. They have contributed to the continued success of the Activities and Sports Camps Program. Activities are being offered at many Cherry Creek Schools. Activities and Sports Camps are open to all residents in the Metropolitan area. Most courses will be offered from June, 2013 until August, 2013. We look forward to your participation. Location: Grass Hill just East of Stutler Bowl Group 1: Beginners (12 years or over) This camp caters to athletes who are just starting to become involved in running. Emphasis will be on building up endurance and the summer goal is to be able to run a 5K by the end of the camp. Great for those who are looking to stay in shape or get ready for their first season of cross country. Group 2: Advanced (13 years or over) This camp is for more advanced runners who are looking to improve their times. Emphasis will be placed on distance training and interval work to get experienced runners to the next level. Recommended for athletes who have raced and trained before. Both groups meet at the same time and for same duration. Movement between groups is acceptable and encouraged for improving runners.
