New Technology- Discussion of the newest technology in hearing aids that allows you to connect to your world through Bluetooth. The newest technology can also connect to systems in your home through the internet. Discussion will include the benefits of new technology, range in cost, benefits and best process to obtain hearing aids Camp Abilities Presentation by John Lieberman Van Hoevenberg Room Camp Abilities is an educational overnight sports camp for children and teens aged 9-19 with visual impairments. The camp is held for one week at the College at Brockport, Saratoga Springs, CABVI at Camp Nazareth in the Adirondacks and Long Island at Adelphi University. The sports the campers play are track and field, tandem cycling, beep baseball, stand up paddle boarding, goalball, swimming, gymnastics, basketball, beep kickball, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding, rock climbing, high ropes courses, rollerblading, and much more! Each athlete is provided a 1:1 coach for the whole week. The campers come from all over NY state! There are four Camp Abilities programs all over NY state and 19 in the US and seven in other countries.
