Bank of Baroda invites application for prequalification of contractors from experienced, reputed and competent contractors/firms for the following work at Ghod Dod Road, Surat having basement, ground and 8- upper floors Sr. No. Name of work Estimated cost of work 1 Proposed Electrification Work for Multi storey office building and a residential building on land plot at Ghod Dod Road, Surat. ` 115 lacs Contractors who are desirous of tendering for above work and fulfills the Following requirements shall be eligible to apply: Tentative Scope of Electrical Work: 1. Supply & Erection of sub-station which will include erection of 1 no. of Transformer, HT VCB Panel, Substation equipments, LT Panel, HT/LT cable, APFCR panels. 2. Supplying & erection of Raceway, light points, fan point 6/16 A plug points, DBs, Earthing, earth grid system, Computer power points, lightning arrestor, Television & Smoke Detection & Fire Alarm system. 3. Erection of Light fixtures including street light, Fan, exhaust fan. Prequalification criteria i. Adequate organizational set up in surat or within a radius of 250 k.m. from surat, comprising of manufacturing factory of such nature and magnitude. ii. iii. Reasonable presence for similar work in the city of the project in the recent past. Average Annual financial turnover of the firm during the last -3- years, ending 31st March 2011, should be at least ` 34.50 lac supported with audited balance sheets. Experience of having successfully completed similar jobs i.e. Multistoried Commercial building during last -7- years (as on 31.03.2011) should be either of the following: a. Three similar completed works each costing not less than ` 46.00 Lacs OR b. Two similar completed works each costing not less than ` 57.50 Lacs OR c. One similar completed work costing not less than ` 92.00 Lacs iv. The performance certificates and credentials received from client/ institutions shall be verified by Bank v. Exposure to Electrification Work of multistoried residential building shall be preferable. vi. Minimum criteria for prequalification should have successfully executed at least one work of similar nature of comparable magnitude in past seven years with public sector unit /government organization /financial institution Applications by those firms who do not submit performance Certificate from their previous employers are liable to be summarily rejected. The Bank reserved the right to reject or accept any or all the applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever therefore.

Instruction to the Applicants for furnishing information as a part of Application for pre- qualification. 1. Intending Applicants are required to submit their applications in Duplicate with full Bio-data giving details about their organization, experience, technical personnel in their organization, competence and adequate evidence of their financial standing, etc. in the enclosed form which will be kept confidential. 2. While deciding upon the pre-qualifications of Contractors, great emphasis will be given on the ability and competence of applicants to do good quality works within the specified time schedule and in close coordination with other agencies 3. Decision of the Bank in regard to selection of Contractors for issue of tender documents will be final. The Bank is not bound to assign any reason for acceptance / rejection of any applications. 4. Each page of the application shall be signed. The application shall be signed by persons /persons on behalf of the organization having necessary authorization / power of Attorney to do so. ( certified copies to be enclosed ) 5. If the space in the proforma is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be supplemented on separate sheets of paper, stating therein the part of the proforma and serial number. Separate sheets shall be used for each part. However the format shall be as per proforma. 6. Applications containing false incomplete and / or inadequate information are liable to be rejected. Also mere fulfilment of eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection. 7. While filling up the application with regard to the list of important projects completed or on hand, the applicants shall include those works only which are individually costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost shown against individual trade herein above.
