CAREER SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE I hold a Master of Science in Public Health and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I am pursuing my PhD at the University of Nairobi, School of Nursing Sciences, Department of Community Health Nursing. I am a CARTA fellow (Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa). I have a passion to see a healthy community. Through my participation in many community health services, I have impacted the less privileged in the community. I have a wide range of experience in management, teaching and clinical instruction as well as supervising, coordinating and leading implementation of quality health services in both government health facilities and faith based organizations. I have seven years teaching experience in the University. I am currently a lecturer at the University of Nairobi, School of Nursing Sciences and Department of Community Health Nursing. I am actively involved in evaluating both theory and clinical practice by use of scientifically proved methodologies. I have continually updated my professional and clinical skills by publishing papers, attending professional conferences and continuous medical education sessions. I am a team player and work with minimal supervision. My excellent communication skills have enabled me to teach, instruct and do on-job training to both staff and students working under me.
