2016 STATE CONFERENCE AWARDS 2016 Z HOPE Awards Chapters and Auxiliaries that meet minimum national requirements for completion of Z HOPE programs will receive Z HOPE Recognition. Chapters and Auxiliaries exceeding minimum national requirements for completion of Z HOPE programs will be in contention for Z HOPE Awards. National Requirements are one (1) Z HOPE for Women AND one (1) Z HOPE for seniors. Any program provided in the Z HOPE manual can count in Chapter/Auxiliary recognition. Competition will be within each chapter size category. All documentation must be submitted by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2016. 2016 Chapters of the Year Graduate 1 15 16 25 26 40 41+ Undergraduate 1 10 11+ 2016 Auxiliaries of the Year To be considered for Chapter of the Year, a chapter must have completed the following MINIMUM requirements: Completion of the REQUIRED Z HOPE activity for Women Completion of the REQUIRED Z HOPE activity focusing on Elder Care and/or Abuse Two (2) additional Z HOPE Activities focusing on an additional National Initiative Participation in at least two (2) community walk in your area, through fundraising or volunteering (NOTE: 2015 March for Babies or 2015 Relay for Life may apply to this goal) Representation at the 2015 Southeastern Region Conference in Orlando, Florida Participation in at least one (1) Get Engaged/Social Action initiative Participation in at least one (1) mental health awareness project Participation in a Founders Day observance Hold at least one (1) embellishment activity for current members Submission of a Chapter Management Plan All Chapter Reports must be submitted by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2016.
