When the content team evaluates speaker submissions we are looking for stories that are: Relevant explore topics that are meaningful to the payments and FinTech industry today. Substantive cover your topic with depth; avoid platitudes or superficial content. Educational provide key takeaways; attendees come to Money20/20 to learn. Innovative share examples of innovation that are truly changing our industry; more than just incremental. Disruptive shake things up; bring thought leadership that truly disrupts that status quo. Genuine be open and honest rather than scripted and corporate; attendees will appreciate your authenticity. Surprising giving the audience something valuable and unexpected. Fresh delivering content that is current and new; not rehashing stale presentations delivered previously in other forums. Newsworthy make a significant announcement, such as a new product or partnership. Future-Focused boldly consult your crystal ball; give your perspective on where the industry will be in 3, 5 or 10 years. When reviewing your proposal, we will be asking How does this idea move the ecosystem forward? How will you engage our audience? Be a panellist for a panel session Be a moderator for a panel Deliver a product demonstration Deliver a standalone presentation or case study Deliver or be part of a session in an unusual format Make an announcement Can you critique the status quo and offer fresh perspectives on tough industry challenges, tech and trends? This is an opportunity for an articulate conversationalist with strong viewpoints to engage in an open and frank discussion. A panel relies on a strong moderator to hold it together. This role is for someone that can ask insightful, controversial questions, and steer the conversation in genuinely new directions. Not for the faint of heart! We are looking for speakers who can be candid about their experiences what worked and what didn t? Making announcements Money20/20 Europe is the place where European industry leaders gather to share groundbreaking news. With 100+ company announcements made at 2017 s event, we attracted over 150 industry, mainstream and tech journalists, broadcasters and analysts, producing 200+ original articles. If you want to make a splash with your announcement, take advantage of the Money20/20 network and do it onsite, onstage in Amsterdam. Think about about why your announcement is relevant to the wider industry. What will be the impact of your announcement? Why do our attendees need to hear about it? We open for announcement submissions in early 2018. What else do you need to know? Submit your most senior speaker Over 65% of Money20/20 Europe speakers are C-Level and over 30% are the CEO or founder of their organisation. Submit early Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis but we recommend early submissions so that we can give your submission full consideration. Submissions will close in early 2018. Do not submit the same speaker more than once This will not increase your chances of being selected. We review every submission carefully and that takes some time; please be patient with us! If your application to speak is successful, you will receive a discount code to purchase a speaker rate ticket ( 1995, roughly 50% discount from full price), which will be valid for all three days of the event and will give access to all areas of the show including the speaker lounge. If your application to speak is successful, the cost to cover the logistics behind your attendance (travel, accommodation and so on) must be covered by you. While we are happy to work with PR or marketing teams in organising sessions, it is very important that we have contact with the speaker themselves in the run up to the show. 5

Proposals submitted directly to the team will not be considered. Evaluation All proposals are evaluated by the Money20/20 Europe Content Team. Each submission is considered on the merit of its content or speaker. You may be contacted for more information. Offers A member of the Money20/20 Europe Content Team will contact you with an initial offer of a slot. Spaces are limited and some proposals may be offered a different slot to the one the initially applied for. Development and delivery As sessions and speakers are announced, the Money20/20 Europe Content Team will help speakers in the development of their sessions. We can offer guidance on presentation styles and techniques appropriate for each space. The Content Team will work with each speaker to assist with any technical requirements and offer guidance on session promotion before, and during, the conference. Money20/20 Europe It s show time! On-site, the Money20/20 Europe Content Team are there all the way, right to the moment you step out on that stage, secure in the knowledge that you re about to deliver an amazing session. Confirmation and announcements Once offers are accepted, session content and speakers have been confirmed and relevant visual assets have been received, we will announce speakers on the relevant pages of the Money20/20 Europe website and in marketing communications.
