This program is designed for undergraduate/bachelors degree students in IT, Computer Science and Engineering who want to visit the most pulsating tech hubs of Europe. The cities of Zurich, Stuttgart, Brussels and Amsterdam will. Combining touristic sightseeing with company visits and field work you will not only learn about the theory but also get hands-on experience in the field. Before your departure you receive a project assignment by a start-up company you will visit during the tour. At the different stops you can intensify your project and finally present it to the company in person. Your group furthermore has the possibility work out a specific case study together with a Dutch university, a great way to learn about other cultures and from each other s experience. Morning Visit ETH Zurich Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, engineering, science, technology, mathematics and management university often considered the best university in Central Europe. Speak to an official representative of Business Information Technology and visit one of the lectures (tbc) Bowling Night together with students from a local university in Breda Overnight in Eindhoven region Day 10 Eindhoven Wednesday, January 29th 2014 Highlights: Visit the Philips Museum and the High Tech Campus Eindhoven! Morning Visit the Philips Museum where the story of the company began in 1891 see office buildings, factories and schools as well as sport and healthcare facilities of the company Afternoon Visit High Tech Campus Eindhoven, which is home to more than 100 companies and institutes and some 8,000 researchers and entrepreneurs (tbc) Overnight in Eindhoven Day 11 Amsterdam Thursday, January 30th 2014 Highlights: Bike through a windmill park and check out Amsterdam!
