JOB SUMMRY The clinical practice facilitator/lecturer in children s nursing will be supporting the existing newly qualified nurse rotation and will be expected to develop a new and exciting Band 5 rotation programme, to be delivered across all three sites. You will work collaboratively with the paediatric development team and senior manager s to deliver effective, high quality and safe patient centred care. S/he will support staff on continuing education, training and professional development to promote the acquisition of new skills and knowledge. She/he will be part of the development of an education programme to ensure that nursing staff acquire the professional standards and competencies when caring for people. The clinical practice facilitator will: nsure that mandatory training requirements are fulfilled and that staff education and development is aligned to staff appraisal and corporate, divisional, ward and service development needs.
