This end of the year meeting is also a time for members to gather and enjoy the warm spirit of the holiday festivities. Live entertainment will be provided by the 5 Star Band, and guests will share a special holiday meal, along with a fun door-prize giveaway. New members, you are welcome to attend and sign up for your 2018 membership as well as get acquainted and enjoy the meeting and luncheon. Get Assistance Filing Your Taxes The volunteer income tax assistance program will be available Thursdays, from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., February 1 through April 12, for adults 60 years of age or older with moderate incomes. There were many prizes for the winners with the most creative costumes. This is my last President s Message column since we will have a new President elected at our Annual Meeting. Furthermore, I have enjoyed the task of working to improve our Club for the last two years. The status of the Club is wonderful with a strong financial balance sheet, but we should continue to work on increase our membership contributions. Remember that the volunteers are the driving force of our Club. You may even find a comfortable location to show your talents to help our members and other seniors by joining the club.
