Dr. Gilbert Rochon, the sixth President of Tuskegee University, will be our speaker. The Event is July 07, 2012 and will be held at the Proud Bird Restaurant in the Tuskegee Room, 11022 Aviation Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90045. Tuskegee University has a rich history and the future of the University is even brighter. Join us to meet and hear this dynamic, visionary, engaging and dedicated leader. Become a part of the growth of Tuskegee University by supporting this event designed to raise funds to assist students enrolled at the University. If you are a parent, a school counselor or know a school counselor, this is an opportunity for them to meet, hear and learn first hand more about the future of this prestigious University and the impact the University will have on educating students, our future leaders. You may assist us in helping raise Scholarship Funds by purchasing tickets, selling tickets to family members, friends; purchasing an Ad in the Souvenir Program, making a donation as a Patron/Donor; donating a Raffle and/or Door Prize. Please reproduce these forms in this newsletter for your use. We are requesting that the various fraternities, sororities and professional associations take part by placing an AD in the Souvenir Program Journal. Dear Tuskegeeans, July 7, 2012 is a few weeks away. I trust that you have been working on selling tickets, Ads and getting Patron s donation for the Club s 36 th Annual Scholarship Fundraising Event. In addition to selling tickets, Ads, and obtaining donation from Patrons, we are asking for donation of door prizes such as gift certificates, office supplies, tote bags, TV s or other items, and identifying vendors to rent booths at the Event. Deadline for placing an AD in the Souvenir Journal Program is June 16, 2012. We will sell tickets up to three days before the Event. We are committed to selling 150 tickets and with your support we can achieve this goal. A Face to Face Meeting is scheduled for June 16, 2012 at the home of Darlene Draper, 3315 West 117 th Street, Inglewood, CA 90303. The meeting will begin at 4:00 PM.
