Research Fellowships

Humboldt Research Fellowship Program for researchers from all countries, all disciplines (no quotas) Postdoctoral researchers Experienced researchers Duration of sponsorship 6 to 24 months 6 to 18 months, may be divided up into 3 stays Application period Fellowship amount applications at any time, doctorates completed less than 4 years ago 2,650 EUR per month (plus additional benefits) applications at any time, doctorates completed less than 12 years ago 3,150 EUR per month (plus additional benefits)

Sponsorship Benefits monthly stipend, travel lump sum, benefits for families language courses allowance for research costs for the host institute study tour, network meeting, annual meeting intensive and individual mentoring in Germany and abroad by personal contacts at the Foundation alumni sponsorship

Benefits for Fellows with Families Family Allowances family allowance for marital partners family allowance for children Optional Extension of Fellowship up to 12 months if fellows are accompanied to Germany by at least one child under the age 12 additional 3 months in case of maternity during fellowship
