A 45 minute drive from Meridian (Hwy 45 N., toward Starkville), the venue is beautiful, and the Taylor's are offering the entire afternoon to come and relax and enjoy time with both your family and your church family. Families are encouraged to bring their fishing gear and fish for the afternoon, or bring 4 wheelers to ride the trails. There will also be volleyball and other outdoor games. There is both indoor and outdoor seating - just bring a chair! The farm will be open for us beginning at 3:00 p.m., with hamburgers and hotdogs served at 5:30! Don't miss out on an afternoon to enjoy the first days of Fall with us. A detailed map and directions will be available in the Crossing beginning this coming Sunday. Church vans will be available if you do not want to make the drive! Just call the church office to sign up!

MISSIONS AND EVANGELISM SEPTEMBER MONTHLY MISSION - ASLANE'S MISSION 33% of people in Meridian live below the poverty level according to the Meridian census. Most of this 33% are considered homeless. Sadly, many of these are becoming more and more families with children. In the month of September, here is what you can do: 1. Take donated items to the Aslane's Thrift store located in the Broadmoor Shopping Center at 49-hundred Poplar Springs Drive. 2. GREATEST NEED RIGHT NOW: The idea that homeless people are not wanting to help themselves is NOT true. Christie Rainer has many homeless clients that come through the mission that are dedicated to getting back to their life but they need id's and birth certificates in order to get a job. ID cost-$14. Birth Certificate cost-$20. How awesome would it be that we as a church came together to help some of these people to get their life back! Be encouraged but also be challenged! Please contact Kristina Crabtree at kristina@cumcmdn.org if you would like to contribute money toward the purchase of these items. If you would like to volunteer, please call Christie Rainer at 601.482.8442 or 601.450.8524. WORSHIP CHURCH CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE Church doesn't just happen when we're sitting in the pew. Church happens when we reach out to those who are hungry, sick, or forgotten. When we work together to end disease and relieve suffering, when we stand together for justice and inclusion, and when we open our hearts to those who are struggling, that's putting beliefs into action. - Rethink Church 8:30 151 Attendance September 6, 2015 Live Streaming - 13 9:45 59 SS 161 On Call Pastor September 11 - September 13, 2015 JONATHAN CRABTREE CELL: 601.831.8280 10:55 103 View service live at 8:30 and 10:55 Sunday morning here: View previous services here:
