Background ASEAN was preceded by an organization formed in 1961 called the Association of Southeast Asia (ASA Signed the ASEAN Declaration, more commonly known as the Bangkok Declaration. ASEAN created on 8 August 1967 All ASEAN Navies are determined to forge cooperation in their attempts to reach common goals and ground as part of a path to a strong and robust ASEAN Community. Under the framework of ASEAN Navy Chief s Meeting, clear evidence of unity and trust among all ASEAN Navies can be seen.

International Fleet Review 2017 The Royal Thai Navy is honored to host the International Fleet Review 2017 which will take place in Pattaya City, Thailand. Invitations have been sent to 58 nations to take part in this significant event. The Prime Minister will be invited to chair the review along with distinguish guests from other countries on board for the fleet review.
Fleet Review Area 2 x 3 NM 3 x 5 NM C 3 NM Waiting Area: Area for participating ships to wait before anchor in Area A and Area B. 1 x 2 NM B A 1.7NM Reserved area for other ships that couldn t anchor in area A Distance between ships is 500 yards and distance between rows is 1000 yards in the fleet review area.

Participating ships will operate as follows : - 17 November 2017 : All ships anchored before 1800h in assigned area and decorate flags and lights, also turn on decorating lights after sunset. - 18 November 2017 : Will be the fleet review date. - 19 November 2017 : City Parade on Pattaya Beach Road. - 20 November 2017 : ASEAN ships will proceed to AMNEX, other ships will return to port.
