SEARCH Search Capella Network Jobs Search for jobs posted to the Capella Network. These jobs are posted by employers with whom Capella has developed a recruiting relationship.. Click on the Find Jobs tab.. Click on Search the Capella Network. 3. You can browse all postings or fill in criteria to narrow your search using the Advanced Search option. 3 3

Create a Job Alert Create a job alert to be notified, via email, when new jobs that match your interests are posted to the Capella Network.. Click on the Find Jobs tab.. Click on Search the Capella Network. 3. Enter keywords in the search field to find postings (for example, Marketing). Select Advanced Search to enter more criteria. 4. To generate the greatest number of matches, highlight only the most important criteria and leave the remaining sections blank. 5. Hold the Control key on your keyboard to select multiple options within on field. 3 4

6. After your search results have populated, click on Save Your Search. 7. Name your search and select how often you would like to get job alerts. You can also elect to receive only new results. 8. Click on Save. 6 7 8 5

Designate a Capella Network Job as a Favorite Designating a job as a Favorite can help you find it more easily because it will be displayed in your list of favorite jobs.. Click on the Find Jobs tab.. Click on Search the Capella Network. 3. Find the job you would like to save as a favorite. 4. Click on the light gray star icon to the right of the job title. 4 5. The star will turn yellow when the job has successfully been added to your Favorites. 5 6

Research Employer Profiles You can search the profiles of employers with whom Capella has developed a recruiting relationship.. Click on the Employer Profiles tab.. Click on Employer Directory. 3. Click on All to browse all employers, or fill in criteria to narrow your search. 3 8

Follow an Employer Following an employer can help you find them more easily because they will be displayed in your list of followed employers.. Click on the Employer Profiles tab.. Click on Employer Directory. 3. Find the employer you would like to follow. 4. Click on the light gray star icon to the right of the employer. 4 5. Review Followed Employers. Click on the Employer Profiles tab.. Click on Followed Employers. 0

Research Employer Contacts Research the contacts at an organization. These contacts are individuals who work at an organization or institution with whom Capella has developed a recruiting relationship.. Click on the Employer Profiles tab.. Click on Contact Directory. 3. Click on All to browse all employer contacts or fill in criteria to narrow your search. 3

Designate a Contact as a Favorite Designating a contact as a Favorite can help you find it more easily because it will be displayed in your list of favorite contacts.. Click on the Employer Profiles tab.. Click on Contact Directory. 3. Find the contact you would like to save as a favorite. 4. Click on the light gray star icon to the right of the contact name. 4 5. The star will turn yellow when the contact has successfully been added to your Favorites. 5

Review Favorite Contacts. Click on the Employer Profiles tab.. Click on Favorite Contacts. UPLOAD Upload Resume/CV/Cover Letter Before you can apply to a position posted on Career Connection, you must upload the required job application documents to the system.. Click on the Upload Your Resume tab.. Click on the Approved tab 3. Click on the +Add New button near the middle of the screen. 3 3

4. In the Document Label field, type the name of your document. Your document label should include your name and the type of document you are uploading (for example, Jane Doe Cover Letter). 5. Choose the Document Type. 6. Click on the Choose File button and select your document to upload. 7. Click on Submit near the bottom of the page. 4 5 6 7 4

APPLY Apply for Jobs in the Capella Network The positions in the Capella Network are posted by employers who have expressed interest in Capella learners and alumni.. Click on the Find Jobs tab.. Click on Search the Capella Network. 3. Click on the job title you d like to apply for. 3 5

4. Click on the Apply button on the right side of the page. 4 Note: If you don t see the Apply button, you will first need to upload a customized resume or CV and cover letter. Then return to job posting to submit your application. After you have uploaded documents, the Apply button will appear. 4 6

5. You may be required to apply through the employer website or by emailing your application materials directly to the employer, rather than through Career Connection. 5 Review Submitted Job Applications. Click on the Find Jobs tab.. Click on My Job Applications. 7

SETTINGS Accessibility Mode Accessibility Mode is recommended for users of assistive technologies.. Click on the arrow next to your name on the top right of the screen.. Click Accessibility Mode: Off. A prompt will appear. 3. Click Ok to change to Accessibility Mode. 3 8

Career Profile Note: To edit information that is locked in your Career Profile, such as your address, update your Personal Information on Campus.. Click on the My Account tab.. Click on Personal. Security Clearance. If you have had a security clearance issued by an agency of the Federal government in the last 5 years, select your status from the Security Clearance drop down menu. (This information will help us send you Job Blast emails to alert you if jobs matching your security clearance are posted.) Military Service. If you have ever served in the US military, select your status from the Military Service drop down menu. (This information will help us send you Job Blast emails to alert you if jobs preferring previous military service are posted.) 9

. Click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page. 5 Privacy Settings. Click on the Privacy Settings tab.. Once you have updated your privacy settings, click on Save Changes. 0

Notification Settings. Click on the Privacy Settings tab.. Click on Notification Settings.. Once you have updated your notification settings, click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page.. You will be alerted of new notifications with the bell icon next to your name at the top of the page.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES Search NACElink Extended Network Jobs In addition to the Capella Network, which is made up of jobs posted specifically with Capella, you can also search for jobs in the NACElink Network. The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), Job Central, Simply Hired, and other online search engines connect in the NACElink Network to expand your search to jobs posted by a global network of over 5 million employers.. Click on the Find Jobs tab.. Click on Search the NACElink Network. 3. The NACElink Network Extended Job Search will populate in a separate browser. 4. Fill in your search criteria. 4

Apply for Jobs in the NACElink Extended Network These positions are posted by employers from the NACElink Network. Because positions are submitted directly to NACElink by the employer, submissions are not pre-screened by Career Center staff, nor does staff have any knowledge about the position or about the status of your application.. After navigating to the NACElink Extended Job Search, fill in your search criteria.. Select the position you would like to apply for by clicking on the job title link. 3

3. Click on Apply Now. 3 4. The application page for that posting will populate in a separate browser. Application instructions will vary by job post. Please review each posting carefully for instructions. 5. Some postings will have a link to the company s Careers page above the Apply Now button. This page will populate in a separate browser. 4 4

Opt Out of Job Notifications from Career Center From time to time, you may receive emails from the Career Center to inform you of a specific job posting. These emails are targeted, and sent to you based on your location, program, and/or other factors that align with the qualifications of the position. If you are not interested in receiving these emails, you can opt out.. Click on the My Account tab.. Click on Privacy Settings. 3. Choose No for Receive Job Blasts by Email from the Career Center. 4. Click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page. 3 4 5

Send Feedback to Career Center. Click on Your feedback is welcome on the bottom right side of the page.. You will receive a response in one business day. 6
