Applicants are strngly encuraged t utilize the Guide fr Effective Nutritin Interventins and Educatin (GENIE) checklist and resurces. Nte that the prpsals n GENIE are sample prpsals and d nt reflect the Champins fr Healthy Kids specific nline prpsal template. T ensure that the nutritin and physical fitness infrmatin in the prpsed prgram is accurate and is scientifically based, a registered dietitian nutritinist (RDN) r dietetic technician, registered (DTR) must either be directly invlved r serve as an advisr t the prgram. The RDN r DTR is expected t be invlved in the planning, implementatin, and/r evaluatin f the prgram. The RDN r DTR must be a member f the Academy f Nutritin and Dietetics and a member number is required fr the applicatin. Current member numbers are verified prir t final selectins.
