Jane Little, a Charleston, West Virginia, native, was a member of the first women s intercollegiate team to compete for WVU. Jane was not the best tennis player on the team, but she displayed the best sportsmanship and was the most dedicated. When she died in October, 1977, her teammates from the 1973-74 team established this award in her memory.
