Summer 2010 Schedule of Classes Students may begin self-registering Feb.22nd University of Pittsburgh at Bradford students must meet with their academic advisor. The academic advisor must remove the advising hold in order for the student to register for classes.

BILLING The University of Pittsburgh does not mail paper bills. Once you have registered for classes charges are created for the term. An e-mail notification is sent to your Pitt e-mail account notifying you when your ebill is ready to view. You may access your ebill by following these directions: Go to my.pitt.edu and log on using the username and password assigned to you by the University. Click the Student Services tab at the top of the page Select the link to PittPAY in the center of the screen Click on view account Select from the drop down menu the option to view most recent ebill. Payment is always due on the 17 th of the month. You may make payments in PittPAY by echeck for no fee. If you pay by American Express, Discover or MasterCard there is a 2.75 service fee charged by our vendor. You may also make cash or check payments in person or by mail to the Enrollment Services Office. ADDING/DROPPING COURSES During the summer you may add classes up to the first day of the session that class begins. Please review the deadlines below for each session s drop period. Once you have passed the date to drop for a particular session you may still withdraw from a class up to a certain point. Keep in mind that when you withdraw from a class you are still charged for the class. May 10 Classes begin 4WK1, 6WK1 and 12WK. Last day to add for these sessions. A Free Room On Campus When You Enroll This Summer You can stay in a room at Pitt-Bradford for free this summer when you take three credits or more. * Some restrictions apply. See below. This is your opportunity to earn credits with significant savings on housing costs. The offer is good for any of the summer sessions (12-week session, 6-week session 1, 6-week Session 2, 4-week Session 1, 4-week Session 2, 4-week Session 3) as long as space is available. This offer is for any returning student and does not apply to first-time freshmen or new transfer students. Weekly housing fees will be waived in parallel with the sessions for which the student is registered. This offer applies only to the time when the session is in progress and cannot be applied to any other time. Students are required to enroll in a minimum of three credits in an on-campus (Bradford) course during the summer sessions. Free housing is also available for on-line courses as long as another three credit course is taken at some point in the summer. Students who drop below the minimum required credits after the beginning of the session will be responsible for paying the full room fees back to the beginning of the session ($125 per week). Students who do not successfully complete the minimum number of credits during the summer session will be responsible for paying the full room fees back to the beginning of the session ($125 per week) this includes failing a course or withdrawal. In order to obtain the housing fee waiver, students must complete an application, available in Residential Life and Housing. All applications will be reviewed and are subject to approval.
