This is a jury selected show. This annual event will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. Information: Deadline for registration. October 27 th, 2017 Notification of selection contact. Week of November 1 st, 2017 Fees due.. November 8 th, 2017 Date of Show... Visa & Master Card also accepted Submission and Entry Requirements Since we receive an overwhelming number of requests to participate, we ask each vendor to submit images and descriptions of their products as well as anticipated price ranges. Crafters and artists who wish to apply for the show must complete the official application attached as well as submit 4 or 5 photos, taken in the last 12 months, of the merchandise to be offered. Each image should only include 1 or 2 items and be taken up close to best show the quality and details of your work. You also need to include a picture of your booth at a show and/or you in process of making your craft. You will be notified if your application is accepted the week of November 1 st, 2017; please include an email address and phone number so we may contact as soon as spots are awarded.

2 Criteria and Guidelines Jury Criteria Each application will be assigned a number and reviewed under assigned labeling. Selection committee will be reviewing work for the following: 1. Images of work submitted with application (Please print paper copies of electronic images-photos will not be returned) 2. Originality 3. Quality and craftsmanship 4. Variety of craft types and medium amongst selected vendors 5. Multiple price ranges & marketability 6. History of participation 7. Date of application received Notifications will be sent out via email or US mail the week of November 1 st, 2017. Guidelines and Expectations: This is a juried craft show. Original works of art and original crafts are permitted. A minimal enhancement to a purchased item does not qualify an item as an original. Please be specific on your application regarding what is purchased and what is handcrafted on your work. This is an important part of the jury selection. Failure to be specific is more likely to result in not being accepted. Please be aware of any copyright laws pertaining to Disney, IU, Purdue, etc. We will not monitor this; it is your responsibility. No novelty, commercial items, souvenirs, or home-show merchandise will be permitted at this event. Independent consultants may apply with handmade product that is unique and verifiable as unavailable anywhere else. Whether a product/material may be exhibited and/or sold at this event is within the sole discretion of the Washington Township Park Director and event staff. We highly recommend and prefer no more than 2 mediums per booth. Example: (wood=1 medium and floral/wreaths =1 medium) Please be very specific on your application regarding your mediums. The goal is to map out the event with some distance between similar items if possible. You will need to provide your own dressing for your tables. Staples, nails, and tacks are not allowed. Vendors are responsible for clean-up of their booth space at the end of the craft show. Please be sure to have someone at your table at all times. Vendors are responsible for collection of all taxes due on their craft sales. It will be assumed that you have adequate inventory to sell product for the duration of the event. Vendors are expected to stay until closing at 3pm on Saturday. A description of your media is necessary to avoid excess of or close proximity to similar items at the show. Booth space may not be sublet, but may be shared with another crafter. Walk-in applications, the day of, will not be accepted.

3 Liability The Washington Township Park, the Park Staff, and Township Trustee will take precautions to safeguard the exhibitors; however, no one will be responsible for the loss or damage to any work exhibited due to weather, staff helpers, the public, war, and/or other acts of God. Submission of application implies agreement to these conditions. Booths The booth spaces are approximately 64 sq.ft. and 100 sq.ft. Our facility is unique so traditional 8 x8 or 10 x10 spaces are not guaranteed. If you have specific space requirements, list that on your application and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you need electricity, please note that on the application. Vendors are to provide their own UL approved heavy duty extension cords. We have a limited number of electrical outlets, and we will try to accommodate everyone who needs electricity. All cords must be taped down with painters tape for safety. Agreement: The organizer of the Washington Township Park Arts & Craft Festival is the Washington Township Park Staff. They reserve the right to allocate space as they see fit to best serve the event for all. Washington Township Park will not be liable or responsible for any loss due to theft, water damage, fire or any other damage to exhibitors equipment or stock.
