To Whom It May Concern, University of California, Irvine is hosting the first annual American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists (AAEES) Student Conference on March 28-29th, 2013 in Irvine, California. We are currently in the process of collecting support for this benchmark conference in order to ensure its success. As the first student conference for AAEES, a successful conference is imperative to lay the needed foundation for future hosts of this conference. The AAEES Student Conference is the first student conference to be sponsored by AAEES in order to bring together environmental engineering undergraduate students from throughout the Southern Californian region. An expected 100 environmental engineering students will come from across the region to network with their future colleagues and their future employers as well as learn valuable topics concerning the modern environmental engineering field. As the economy slowly improves, participating students will be eager to meet with employers to secure an entry-level position. We are writing to your company to consider supporting UC Irvine and AAEES as we host the first AAEES Student Conference. Your assistance will subsidize the cost of student participation, supplies, equipment rental, facility rental, meals, and much more. Your firm will be recognized at the conference through the display of your name and logo in the program and events. Even if your firm cannot financially support the conference, there are many opportunities to participate in booths, presentations, and simple attendance. Enclosed is a brochure and sponsorship form explaining our sponsorship program for the conference. Thank you for your consideration and generosity.
