The selection criterion is weighted more in considering the most qualified applicant for the Bursary. 2) If application is being made for a bursary, must provide the spouse, parent(s), or sponsor s tax returns for the past taxation year. 3) Failure to provide adequate financial information, where applicable, may result in automatic disqualification of student s application for a Bursary. 4) Must be present or represented by a family member for presentation at the CIBPA Award Dinner to receive the Scholarship / Bursary. Otherwise, student will not be eligible to receive award remuneration. 5) The student must submit his or her transcript of mark. Only official transcripts from the school are acceptable, otherwise they will be disqualified. 6) Greater consideration may be given to students at a higher level of study.

One thousand dollars ($1,000) is available in each year that there is at least one candidate that satisfies the eligibility criteria. 1.2. This Award is given by the President of CIBPA to a recipient engaged in leadership opportunities, community involvement, and promoting quality of life. 2. ELIGIBILITY 2.1. The Applicant must be: 2.1.1. Of Italian Origin; 2.1.2. A Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant; 2.1.3. A full time secondary student who is graduating and has applied to be enrolled at a recognized Canadian University or Community College; 2.1.4. A student attending a recognized University or Community College. 2.2. Only one CIBPA Scholarship or Bursary per applicant per year will be awarded. RINO NAZZANI VISIONARY AWARD SCHOLARSHIP 1. AWARD TITLE: Rino Nazzani Visionary Award Scholarship Page 1 of 2 Revised: January 5, 2018 1.1. Rino Nazzani was a man of character, integrity, great vision and intelligence, tremendous courage and most of all, a man of deep Christian faith. His determination brought him great success in his motherland, Italy, with the creation of a large pipeline construction enterprise. His vision though saw Canada a better place for his children. With passion and drive, he began a new journey facing a new system, new culture and a new language for the benefit and future of his family. All those that crossed his path loved him, admired him, felt inspired and were proud of his friendship. 2. AMOUNT 2.1. One thousand dollars ($1,000) is available in each year that there is at least one candidate that satisfies the eligibility criteria. 3. AWARD CRITERIA 3.1. The Visionary Award is about entrepreneurship and vision. All recipients should be interested in increasing leadership opportunities, encouraging entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, pursuing academic excellence and balancing quality of life. 4. ELIGIBILITY 4.1. The Visionary Award is available to Canadian citizens or landed immigrant, male and female students who have spent a period of time in Windsor or Essex County and are registered full time in a business or engineering program at a university. 5. SPECIFIC CRITERIA 5.1. The award is open to qualified individuals who represent the values of the Visionary Award. Candidates should: 5.1.1. Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and vision for the future of their careers and of the community. 5.1.2. Demonstrate a potential for leadership. 5.1.3. Demonstrate a commitment to hard work and excellence in their academics or chosen career path. 5.1.4. Demonstrate values that support the achievement of excellence. 5.1.5.
