What: This meet consists of a Drill Competition, a Platoon In-Ranks Inspection, Regulation w/o Arms Drill, Regulation w/arms Drill, Color Guard Competition, Individual, Two and Four Person Exhibition Drill and Unarmed Drill Down. When: Saturday, 4 March 2017 from 0700 1400 (lunch provided) Where: Fountain-Ft Carson High School in the JROTC POD. Why: To serve as judges in an inter-service drill meet where each service program will compete using their own service standard cards for regulation and color guard events.

Why: Usually the truck leaves the Pastoral Center at 10am and then the volunteers unload and help with some set up, done by 1pm. 25 SAMC F.I.T. w/ Athletics & Beyond 7v7 Football and Life Skills Workshop POC: SGT Blanca Reyes - blanca.reyes7.mil@mail.mil In an effort to inspire youth and provide positive role models the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club has created the SAMC F.I.T. Committee. F.I.T. stands for Fun with fitness, Intervention, and Teaching. Our goal is to collaborate with the local and military community youth in order to provide mentorship and a positive learning environment centered around good heath and fitness. The Committee Chairman is SGT Blanca Reyes, 4 th Sustainment BDE. Who: 7-10 Volunteers as mentors and coaches. When: Saturday, March 25th Athletics & Beyond would like to bring approximately 22 middle school and high school student athletes. Where: Ft. Carson, 4th Special Troops Battalion What: In addition to workstations and introductions we would like to have a 7v7 flag football game against Ft. Carson student athletes grades 7 & 8 and 9-11 as well as an obstacle course for physical activities. Why: Perform Resiliency Training, Performance Triad and an introduction to the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club leaders. APR 1-2 TAPS Good Grief Camp POC: SFC Kia White - kia.j.whitescott.mil@mail.mil MISSION: Volunteer as mentors at the TAPS Good Grief Camp, for Gold Star children, supporting children of fallen military Apr. 1-2, 2017. MENTOR'S ROLE: Each mentor is matched with a military child who lost his or her loved one. Children range from 4 to 18 years old; you may select the age group with which you prefer to work. You are placed in a group with other mentors and their mentees, led by an experienced and trained grief facilitator. Responsibilities include connecting with your mentee and following the lead of your group leader. Mentors must be available for training on Saturday morning, and participate in the camp all day Saturday and Sunday. MANDATORY BRIEFING: Saturday, Apr. 1, 0730-0900 GOOD GRIEF CAMP: Saturday, Apr. 1, 0900-2000 (breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided) Sunday, Apr. 2, 0800-2000 (breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided) LOCATION: Cheyenne Mountain Resort, 3225 Broadmoor Valley Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906 UNIFORM: Casual (shorts, jeans, sandals, tennis shoes).
