ABOUT Established in 2002, Warees Investments Pte Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS), or the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore, a statutory board under MCCY. Warees is the acronym for WAkaf REal EState. Waris, as pronounced in Malay means heritage and beneficiary, both of which are closely related to the management of trust properties. The logo is an expression of the letter W and symbolises both a fountain and a tree. The fountain with its inflow and outflow of water reflects a sense of giving and receiving, while the tree represents growth, strength, shelter and nature. The rectangular box symbolises a solid and firm foundation. One of our core capabilities is in managing endowment portfolios and institutional assets worth over half a billion Singapore dollars for community interest. Driven by a dedicated team of professionals, our main focus is to revitalise real estate trusts, henceforth unlocking their value, and provide effective interface for enterprises and endowment growth. We spearhead sustainable enhancement initiatives, asset optimisation programmes steered by social responsibility and passion for excellence. We unlock value, advocate heritage and add vibrancy to Singapore urban landscape. We firmly believe that being culturally conscious and understanding the value of tradition and diversity, and being mindful of the urban environment and history of each trust, lay the foundation of an innovative property development.
