SUMMER SCHOOL Summer schools are a great way to study a specialised subject area with a very diverse group of students, allowing you to gain an edge within your discipline, and stand out from others. These programmes have a solid cultural agenda which makes the whole experience a lot of fun. Visit www.ntu.ac.uk/summer-schools for more information. IS THERE ANY FUNDING AVAILABLE? Most students taking part in a European exchange (Erasmus+) study period are eligible to receive an Erasmus+ grant to assist with the additional expenditure incurred through living abroad. TUITION FEES Students that study abroad as part of their course do not pay tuition fees to the partner institution, they should only pay the fees required for their course at the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment. INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS Students that study or work internationally have the opportunity to apply for several mobility and travel scholarships. Please visit one of our Global Lounges at the City Campus or Clifton Campus, or visit www.ntu.ac.uk/mobilityfunding for more information. Please email NTUGlobal@ntu.ac.uk for more information on how to apply for a grant. LIFE AS A STUDENT STUDYING ABROAD Name: Camille Webley Course: BSc (Hons) Product Design Destination: Spain Camille completed her placement year at 2MZ in London before spending a semester on the EPS programme at the School of Engineering of Vilanova i la Geltrú in Spain. I would highly recommend going on exchange. I think that it was a massive learning curve for me; not only did I learn a bit of Spanish but I learnt more about being a designer, and working with a company and different types of engineers. "I had a great time and I think that many other people would too!"

INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES In the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment, we encourage students to spend some of their time studying in another country. Learn about other cultures, enhance your life skills, build an attractive CV, and open your eyes to a world of opportunity. You have the chance to study in Europe with our Erasmus+ exchange programme, European Project Semester, or at one of our international exchange partner universities around the globe.
