Borecka Biographical Note Narodowe Siły Zbrojne (NSZ) (National Armed Forces) was a military organization established in Sept. 1942 as a union of underground groups (Narodowy Zwiazek Wojskowy, Zwiazek Jaszczurczy, and others). One component of the NSZ joined the Armia Krajowa (Home Army) as a result of an agreement made on 7 Mar. 1944. Another component, the so called Brygada Świȩtokrzyska, moved to Western Europe with German permission. Some groups of the NSZ were still active after the war and fought against the new Communist regime. The NSZ produced several underground press titles including Szaniec, Agencja, and Narodowa Agencja Prasowa Scope and Content of Collection Contains records of the Narodowe Sily Zbrojne (NSZ) (National Armed Forces) a Polish military organization established in September 1942 as a union of some underground groups including Narodowy Związek Wojskowy (National Military Union) and Zwiazek Jaszczurczy (The Lizard Union).
