Let s Talk: Suggestions: Have and communicate a clear commitment and policy framework for serving veterans. Provide training and technical assistance on eligibility, service design and delivery. Continue to support and highlight best practices. Work with veterans as an asset to your employers. Starting with the VA and DoD, build more effective partnerships that include local service providers. Research and develop an outreach system that is able to deal with a very mobile client base. Consider a tool more focused on Veterans Services than the current Service Locator. Develop a Veterans Service Check List. Research and develop strategies to serve members of the Reserves and National Guard.
