Phase 1: Online Competition Outline Part 1: Boot Camp Nov 6th - Dec 4th Part 2: Coding Week Dec 4th - Dec 8th Phase 2: Live Event Championship: Dec 12th (Live event)
Part 1: Boot Camp Nov 6 - Dec 4 General: Play online through guided CoderZ missions to learn how robots work and control them using code. Missions: Over 50 guided missions No previous knowledge 5-8 Hours to complete Topics Covered: Navigation Sensors Loops and conditions
Part 1: Boot Camp Objectives Inclusiveness Reach as many students as possible - the other 99% Diversity Encourage girls to take on STEM Complete Missions As many as you can Faculty Inclusiveness Encourage faculty members to take on STEM
Part 1: Boot Camp Awards Student Inclusiveness Award Number of active Students Total number of students Active Student Signs up Completes a minimum of 5 missions Scores at least 800 points

Part 2: Coding Week Dec 4-8 General: Use your new coding skills to solve multiple CoderZ challenges online Objectives: Complete missions Get high scores Get as many to participate
Part 2: Coding Week Awards Best Performance Total Score (per school grade) Total number of students (per school grade) Active Student Signs up Completes a minimum of 5 challenges Scores at least 500 points

Part 2: Coding Week Qualification for The Finals The following teams will qualify to the finals 6 schools who won the bootcamp awards. Top 10 schools in coding week performance. Each school will send 2 students, of any grade. (MS or HS)
Part 3: The Finals General: Up to 16 schools compete against the clock and each other Date TBD - Currently Dec 12 Objectives: Complete Advanced CoderZ Challenges Score high Code quality
Part 3: The Finals Awards Governor's Award for the School with best overall performances: Inclusiveness Diversity Avg score Highest score Code Quality Grade

Students & Expectations 1. Sign up 2. Complete the Getting Started Missions before Nov 6th (but can be later) Nov 6th - Bootcamp starts! 3. Complete at least 5 missions 4. Score at least 800 points in total 5. Work from home (20-30 minutes a day) 6. Provide feedback 7. Encourage and help fellow students!
