U.S. Postage PAID Bellville, Texas 77418 Permit # 25 RETURN SERVICE REQUESTED A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR The Joy of Easter is the joy of Life! Easter is more than a day and it is so much more than our beautiful springtime. Easter celebrates a unique event in history; an event so singular that it is 100% unrepeatable. It is unrepeatable because the resurrection of Jesus only needed to happen once for all of time and for all of humankind. Like the effects of one pebble on a pond rippling out to the very edges of the entire pond is the event of Easter in all of creation. For those of us who call on the name of Jesus there is no other day quite like Easter. We will celebrate the gift of Easter with our family and friends at BUMC by having very special Easter Sunday services. The youth will lead a 7 AM worship service in the MAC There will be a Traditional services at 9 & 10:15 in the sanctuary There will also be a contemporary service at 10:15 in the MAC If you receive this newsletter before our presentation of the Living Last Supper I want to be sure and invite you to attend this very moving and dramatic portrayal of da Vinci s painting brought to life. Dean Nelson and Jay McKeown as well as many others have given their time and talents to help make our understanding and celebration of Easter even more meaningful. I encourage everyone to come and be with us we celebrate and worship the King of kings and Lord of lords who opened up the gates of paradise for us to enter. See ya Sunday, if not before! Blessings, Pastor Malcolm
