SHORT DESCRIPTION Project Dates: 5 th January 2015 6 th June2016 EVS mobility stage: May 2015 February 2016 (10 months) Venue: Craiova, Romania Number of partners: 3 - Asociación para la Innovación en la Dinamización Comunitaria y el Turismo - www.indicot.org, Spain - International Sustainable Development Association - www.uskad.org, Turkey - Fundacja Mobilni Polacy - www.mobilnipolacy.org.pl, Poland Number of volunteers: 9 (3/partner) gender balanced (1 Male + 2 Female or 2 Male + 1 Female) MANDATORY Profile of participant: - Aged between 18 to 30 years - Motivated in working with children and in the ecological field - Interested in developing skills like: communication in foreign languages, entreprenorship - Basic skills in editing (Photoshop/MovieMaker/Word) - Fluent in English

PROJECT OBJECTIVES: AIM: to offer 9 volunteers the opportunity of developing employability competences and enhance their social pro active involvement in the frame of ecology. OBJECTIVES: - development of knowledge / skills / attitudes with transversal character in an intercultural learning environment for 9 young people from ES, TR and PL, participants in the EVS mobility for 10 months in Craiova / RO - development of an intergenerational non-formal and experiential learning program, with ecological theme for 150 people from Craiova: children, youngsters, parents, grandparents (lasting 10 months)

ACTIVITIES 1. Support services for promoting the E+ learning mobility s: preparation/organization of public events for promoting the E+ mobility s in Craiova/RO 2. Support services for the candidature of the Municipality of Craiova for the position of European Cultural Capital 2021: organizational support offered by 3 Ngo s (Red Cross Dolj subsidiary; Explorator Association; Asociatia Nationala de Dezvoltare Continua a Tineretului din Romania) which are local partners in the project and which offer support to the City Hall of Craiova. 3. Support services Junior Voluntary Service : preparation/organization of activities and public events for ecological education for children 4. Support services Intergenerational Voluntary Service : preparation/organization of sport/outdoor activities and intergenerational public events with ecological and intercultural character.

ACTIVITIES The volunteers will work in 3 mixed teams, and in the last 2 months of the stage will be supported to carry out and local initiative, additional to their tasks (individual or in teams). The methodology used will be non-formal and experiential, varied according to the type of activity: living library, flash-mob, creative writing, e-scape, lateral-thinking, mind-map, theatre, drawing, theatre s plays, dance, photo quiz with animals/birds, karaoke, team-building solutions, non-formal casino, cycling, treasure hunts with eco subject, hygiene of green spaces and planting seedlings, manufacture / assembly of small houses and feeding receptacles for birds, landscaping for picnic. The main results will be the learning ones. The material results mainly refers to materials with wide visibility that will serve as support for the partner organizations, and "fingerprint" left in the hosting community (spaces for picnic, marked bicycle routes, etc.). We anticipate that on medium and long term the impact of the project will be an especially relevant both for the communities involved and for the partner organizations, but also for EVS volunteers and the direct beneficiaries of the project s activities from Craiova/RO. Examples: - increased employment capacity - better information on E+ opportunities and higher motivation to capitalize the learning opportunities of Life-long learning" type - more responsible people for nature - family ties restored / strengthened (effect of intergenerational activities) - organizations with an improved capacity for working and for absorption of non-formal methodological solutions for the children, - youth and adults

PARTNERS TASKS E V S Preparation stage: - Ensure the visibility of EVS by at least 3 means (newsletter, information point, on-line/off-line publications etc) until 1 St April 2015 - Support candidates in filling the application form, CV in Europass format, interview until 1 st March - Select 3 participants according to the profile mentioned above until 15 th March 2015 - Schedule an interview with HO for each volunteer until 15 th March 2015 - Support volunteers in acquiring the travel tickets until 1 st April 2015 - Organize a pre-departure training based on the EVS Info Kit All tasks to be accomplished and send to the project coordinator until above mentioned deadlines. PARTNERS TASKS E V S Implementation stage: - Support own volunteers along the stage and send regular feedback to the HO - Promote the activities/results among own community at least 2 measures/month - Fill evaluation/feed-back documents requested by the coordinator - Assist HO in solving any problems that they or the volunteers are encountering related to this project All tasks to be accomplished and send to the project coordinator until last day of stage. PARTNERS TASKS S E M I N A R Dissemination and final evaluation stage: - Disseminate the project results by at least 4 measures (conferences, meetings with local volunteers, on-line sources etc) until 15 th September 2015 - Assist own participants in filling the participants report in case of need - Ensure that participants have send all need it travel documents - Send coordinator the travel invoice for all group in order to be reimbursed until 15 th August 2015(see financial aspects) - Fill the evaluation survey until 30 th August 2015 All tasks to be accomplished and send to the project coordinator until mentioned deadline. ADDITIONAL TASKS FOR COORDINATOR E V S - - To inform all partners about the approval process and grant agreement, register the project in Mobility Tool - To elaborate /collect all documents and draft materials of the project (contracts, activity agenda, info-pack, evaluation charts etc) - To ensure the financial management of the project - To offer support to all partners based on their needs - To interview volunteers before arrival - To ensure the implementation of the project according to the grant agreement - To support volunteers alongside the stage according to the activities schedule and learning plan - To enrol volunteers to OAT and MTM - To fill the final report for the NA based on documents provided by partners/participants

FINANCIAL ASPECTS E V S - To inform all partners about the grant budget approved by NA - To assist partners in the travel arrangements and reimbursements - To provide sending costs in the amount of 40 euros/month/volunteer. Based on the invoice provided NOTE: NO sending costs will be provided if the volunteer is not selected based on the profile or if it leaves sooner then end of stage (exceptional causes as described by the law doesn t apply) NOTE: money transfers will be made ONLY in partners account based on invoice and copies after the travel documents (boarding passes, electronic tickets, bus/train tickets) NOTE: any requirement not fulfilled that attracts financial penalties/reduction will be reimbursed to the coordinator association not later then 7 days after the notification. (including not selecting volunteers) NOTE: a contract will be signed with all partners where the tasks, deadlines, financial aspects and penalties will be detailed.

Each two weeks volunteers will work on Saturday and have Monday as a free day.

EVS - Volunteers will have to sign an agreement where are stipulated their tasks, rights and responsibilities - Volunteers will be accommodated in apartments fully equipped, 2/room each gender, with shared bathroom and kitchen - Volunteers will receive a monthly food allowance of 100 euros and 60 euros pocket money by bank transfer in an account opened at arrival, on 30 th of each month, in Lei (Romanian currency) at the monthly rate exchange - Volunteers will be assigned a mentor, weekly meetings are encouraged to be attended in order to evaluate the learning process - Language support will be provided based by the grant received - A monthly local travel bus pass will be provided for each volunteer - Volunteers will be guided in the activities by a coordinator - Volunteers will be assisted to register to OAT and MTM (organized by NA) where is mandatory to take part - Volunteers will be offered a travel support according to the travel band distance - Volunteers will have to fill and send at the end of each month an activity report. At the end of the stage volunteers must fill the report from The Mobility Tool - Volunteers are expected to work 7 hours/week, 5days/week. 2 free days/week. NOTE: weekend activities(events) can be possible - According to the program rules: 2 holidays/month will be granted. The Romanian free declared Holidays will be applied also to volunteers (Christian Orthodox Easter/Christmas, National Independence day etc)
