Were you satisfied with the number of job opportunites available? 1 it was supposed to be for all majors but I didn't find a single one directed towards International Studies or Political Science, it was only for business students Oct 15, 2012 10:16 AM 2 Many were not accepting resumes or only accepting them closer to graduation Oct 2, 2012 4:38 PM 3 Mostly just sales/ commission based jobs Oct 2, 2012 4:16 PM 4 need more environmental studies job opportunities Oct 2, 2012 3:28 PM 5 Midly satisfied; more diversified companies need be present Oct 2, 2012 3:27 PM Q8. Do you feel there were enough big name/diverse employers at the fair? 1 More Health Department Employers Oct 15, 2012 11:22 PM 2 Psychology-related Oct 15, 2012 7:38 PM 3 More employers looking for liberal arts major such as English Oct 15, 2012 11:31 AM 4 state department, fbi, cia, dia, any governent institution Oct 15, 2012 10:16 AM 5 More from Baltimore/DC area Oct 2, 2012 4:38 PM 6 Not diverse at all. What one geographic area/region would you like to see more employers represented at the job fair? 1 Columbia, Laurel Oct 16, 2012 10:34 AM 12 of 14

Q10. What one geographic area/region would you like to see more employers represented at the job fair? Q11. What one industry type would you most like to see at this fair? (remember health and education have their own job fairs) 1 Psychology Oct 15, 2012 7:38 PM 2 management Oct 15, 2012 6:10 PM 3 Inernational business Oct 15, 2012 12:57 PM 4 sales Oct 15, 2012 12:48 PM 5 Consulting Oct 15, 2012 11:19 AM 6 More specifically looking for human resources since every business has that Oct 2, 2012 4:38 PM Q13. What type of attire did you wear to the fair? 1 Convenience Oct 16, 2012 10:34 AM 2 I am a Finance/Accounting Major and I felt like this form of attire was the most appropriate for the opportunities I was looking for. Oct 15, 2012 10:38 AM 3 scrubs - I'm a nursing major and had clinical that day Oct 4, 2012 6:18 PM 4 I realize how important first impressions are so I dress to the occasion Oct 2, 2012 4:38 PM 5 To look professional Oct 2, 2012 4:16 PM Q16. Q20. Any suggestions or comments on how the fair could improve? (Direct quotes) 1 look for employers who are actually looking to hire. It seemed as though a lot of employers were there to simply collect resumes; no one was actually looking to schedule interviews or even interested in reviewing resumes there. Oct 18, 2012 11:01 AM 2 More psychology relates people and less business related Oct 15, 2012 7:38 PM 3 Make it easier for students to sign up online Oct 15, 2012 12:05 PM 4 Include more employeers looking for liberal arts major, it seemed as though this job fair was for marketing, accounting, business type of jobs. 5 Don't advertise as beneficial for all majors when most of the employers want only business majors 6 There was not enough diversity. Most of the employers were geared to business students. 7 You can improve the job fair by having more banking and financial industries there at the job fair. And probably more technology jobs too. 8 As an accounting major it was almost a waste to go to both the job fair and the meet the firms night.
