THE EXHIBITIONS Each Jobs Fair will feature over 30 businesses from across the region, both local and national companies looking to recruit. We are hoping to attract hundreds of job seekers to each event and with their central locations, the events will attract a wide range of job seekers from those looking to further their career with a management position to school leavers, parents returning to work, graduates and many more. The Jobs Fairs will be free to attend and offer a unique opportunity for companies and job hunters to meet up in an informal environment to discuss potential future employment. Your company will also have the opportunity to exhibit in either just one area or all four locations if you are based in several locations across the region. BENEFITS OF EXHIBITING This is an excellent opportunity for employers to meet and have an informal discussion with candidates before following up with an interview or trial. We can also provide space to accommodate interviews. The event also offers excellent opportunities to build a strong and loyal candidate base in local communities surrounding the Manchester metropolitan area and across Liverpool, either across all 4 events, or as part of a local initiative. In addition to this, the planned outreach through a targeted social media marketing campaign is a great opportunity to reach out to those searching for jobs, potential candidates who are new to the area and people looking for a career change.

MARKETING AND PROMOTION Job search has gone social. 94% of employers say that they use social media to find new employees, and the job searching public is responding to this, using Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter instead of traditional job boards. It is also becoming more important to have a strong public face and presence online, in order to give prospective candidates an insight into your company. Participating in campaigns like this lifts your profile as well as your accessibility to new candidates. We will be investing heavily in paid social media by creating very specific targeted ads. We will attract a demographic of candidates essential to your workforce, meaning the people you meet at the Jobs Fair are of high quality and relevance to you. Our social media campaign will be complemented by more traditional channels including banners external to the venue, shopping centre based promotions in the week prior to the events to raise awareness, flyering campaigns on the day of the event, a PR campaign to achieve press coverage through local press and an extensive HTML e-marketing campaign to our database of job seekers.
