Welcome to 2015! Where did 2014 go? Time sure passes fast! With the start of a new year, we start thinking of those things called New Year s Resolutions! You know those things that we can do to improve our personal lives and/or our businesses, things that enhance our quality of life. In 2015, I would like to encourage all of our Chamber members, new and old alike, to get involved with our Berea Chamber of Commerce. We need you! Each one brings a unique quality to the table. During my years of being a Chamber member, I have made wonderful friends, met lots of other business owners and learned a lot about our beautiful Berea. Come join me in 2015 and see for yourself! Please help me welcome our newest board members: Steve Carter, Tina Marcum, Heather Resor, and George Wyatt. I look forward to serving with you in 2015. Feel free to contact me anytime at nolanewman@windstream.net. A special Thank You goes out to all our volunteers and sponsors of our 2014 events. You are awesome! The mission of the Berea Chamber of Commerce is with integrity, to promote prosperity and enhance the quality of life by: supporting current businesses; encouraging new business development; enhancing communication and collaboration and promoting Berea as a place to live and work. I have lived in Berea for 32 years. The first 10 years, I worked in Lexington...left home before dark and came home after dark. It wasn t until I came home to Berea to work did I realize what a beautiful little town we live in called Berea. So proud to call Berea home! I want to personally invite you to come join the Berea Chamber of Commerce in 2015! Executive Director s Comments 2015 Berea Magazine Advertising Opportunities The Berea Chamber of Commerce has once again partnered with The Berea Citizen to publish and print the 2015 Berea Magazine. As the Chamber s official publication, the Berea Magazine is a core marketing piece for all relocation requests and inquiries about Berea. This full-color, high gloss magazine will be updated for 2015 in an effort to address the numerous questions of new residents and tourists alike. The publication provides area businesses with a variety of ad sizes at very cost effective prices for advertising their business. Gold (Corporate) Partners of the Berea Chamber of Commerce Advertising sales will be coordinated by Kyle Sowers, while the editorial content will be managed by the staff of The Berea Citizen. Due to demand, printing will now be done annually with distribution of 7,500 copies through the Berea Chamber of Commerce.
