Membership drive Create Associate Membership without becoming ASI member (No privileges to hold administrative posts o Initiated the Associate Membership 2. Create Database of Faculty (Should be members of IASG): Data base should be created o Data base of all the members were created. Members have to update their mail ids and contact no. We were able to tidy up roughly 500 members data. 3. Travel Fellowship initiate by Dr Haribhakti o Guidelines developed for the IASGCON 2014 Ahmedabad Travel Fellowship and will be initiated from next year onwards after associating with JSGS and approval by GB 4. Orations: No change in the name of orations. Guidelines developed for Veerabhai JR Das Agarwal orations. Guidelines available in iasgweb site for approval. 5. Website: Association activities. (IASGINDIA.COM) Members login o Available New members online membership o Available Existing members login o Download membership certificate o Update Profile CV this will form the basis of selecting the faculty by SC for the next conference Election online o Being developed should be ready in three weeks (Needs constitution amendment for elections online) Education Portal online o Being developed should be ready in three weeks Conference Module Registration portal o Needs funds for development 8. Finances:
o Approved Audit reports of IASG 2015-16 and IASGCON2015 uploaded to iasgindia.com o Late submission of abstracts increased to Rs 1000. (Association income increased from around 60,000 to 1.8 L) o Two FD s Created separately with an advice to deposit the interest annually in to current account to facilitate utilization of interest for the purpose it was intended to. 1. CME and PG Clinics: (Details are available at iasgindia.com o AIG conducted PG clinics March 4 th and 5 th o AIIMS and GB Pant conducted PG Clinics Apr 22 nd and 23 rd o CMC (Dr Inian) conducted Mid term CME on 31 st Mar and 1 st Apr 10. GI Surgery Annual: It was co-published with springer, the arrangement will be continued for three years. Members and Indian readers will get at a price set by IASG. For outside India, it is available as e-book through springer. 11. SSAT-IASG Collaboration: o Dr Sastry, Dr Pradeep and Dr Bhalla had on line discussion with SSAT. The details of which are minuted. o Dr Peush, Ramesh Ardhanri discussed about the collaboration. The details of which are minuted 12. JSGS-IASG Collaboration: o Collaboration revived by Dr Peush Sahni 13. Orations: o Names of the orations remain same o Mrs Veerabhai JR Das Agarwal Oration open to any IASG member, the guidelines and selection process was worked out and available on the website o President will deliver presidential address during inaugural function 14. SOP developed for some activities: 1. Secretary time lines, schedules and reminders 2. Abstracts finalisation and supplement will be uploaded to website well in advance. 3. Orations: 4. Medals initiated (Orations, President, Best oral paper, Best abstract and Best video) 5. Standardisation of certificates of IASGCON 15. Registering IASG and obtaining PAN Card. o All the documents were prepared and in the process. There was some objection for using the name Indian. We are in the process of discussion with the administration regarding this. 16. Sectional meeting in ASICON: ASICON wants IASG to continue the sectional meeting in the old format (i.e) three hour parallel session as before.
