ROLLING THUNDER NJ CHAPTER 2 Newsletter (July 2017) PRESIDENT S MESSAGE I hope everyone is doing good in this slight heat wave we are having. It s been a few weeks since our BBQ. We didn t set the world on fire, but we did ok and I want to thank all those who came out and helped. It s that time of year and I'm working on our Freedom Ride, and before you know it, we will be doing our Freedom Ride. Patches and pins are ordered, shirts are ordered, and now we pray for good weather. As you know, we have a couple runs set up, one to Virginia and one to New Hampshire. Both are overnighters and I hope we have a good showing for both. Brenda will have all information at our meeting. Will see you all Wednesday. Thanks, Lou

Bits N Pieces

WHAT IS A VETERAN? A Veteran whether on active duty, discharged, retired, or reserveis someone who, at one point of their life, wrote a blank check made payable to The United States of America for an amount up to and including his or her life. That is Honor. And there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
