Inpatient Rehabilitation Program Outcomes 2015 The Inpatient Rehabilitation Program at Euromedica-Arogi includes nurses, therapists who have special training and expertise in treating individuals with various conditions. Our physicians are also specialists in treating various conditions in acute inpatient rehabilitation. The patients who come to our program have difficulties in performing at least one of the following: moving around, taking care of themselves (self-care), engaging in activities of domestic life (doing housework, preparing meals) and participating in community activities. Average Length of Stay 2015 The amount of time they stay varies from a few days to several weeks, based on patients' individual needs and their progress. Euromedica-Arogi follows the National Greek Health System (EOPYY) time frame for each patient. Last year, the Average LOS in Euromedica-Arogi was equal to 28.91 days which is well below the EOPYY guidelines. Average Number of Therapy Hours Therapy sessions include physical, occupational, speech-language, psychology, and/or recreational sessions. Our patients received an average of 3-4 hours of per day, for five out of seven days a week, delivered by a licensed/certified therapist The maximum number of hours of therapy that can be provided is between five to six hours per day. While therapy sessions are maximized during the week, weekend therapies are considered an important part of the therapy plan. Weekend program includes: Education sessions for families and patients Medical Management Individual therapy sessions Group sessions Scheduled therapy sessions start at 9am and continue up to 6pm depending on patient goals that the rehabilitation team identifies. Therapy sessions occur every day of the year except Sundays. The in house Social Worker of Euromedica-Arogi organizes Certain Clubs that help patients with their social and interdisciplinary therapies. Many also received other therapies as needed such as hydrotherapy. Family members are invited to participate in education and training sessions. 4

Patient Satisfaction 2015 Patients were asked to complete a satisfaction survey after their stay at Euromedica-Arogi. They were asked to rate our services from Bad to Very Good weighted in a scale of 1 to 5. The scores here are converted to a scale of 0 to 100. Our patients rated their overall care at Euromedica-Arogi with 95%. Euromedica-Arogi: A Commitment to the Community With an emphasis on wellness and prevention, the clinicians at Euromedica-Arogi are committed to reaching out to the community to help raise awareness about the spectrum of conditions we address with rehabilitation at Euromedica-Arogi, the importance of making healthy choices and to reach each person's goals for optimum health and well-being. This is achieved by developing sustainable relationships with community-based organizations and providing educational seminars, interactive health screenings, and enriching activities in diverse populations. In addition to our therapeutic programs, Euromedica-Arogi also supports the community by sponsoring a number of groups that meet regularly for the purpose of bringing together patients and/or caregivers of people who are dealing with similar issues. 2015 Examplery program included: Medical Rehabilitation Training for Euromedica-Arogi Staff Lectures open to the Public on Neurological, Orthopedic and generally medical conditions Celebrations and Events on Thematic calendar such as Christmas, New Year s, and Easter Training on preparing relatives and/or friends to handle difficulties upon returning home with patients Hosted events for other non-profit foundations and organizations Educational sessions for families and patients Community re-entering activities Sponsoring special needs sport teams 6
