IPG is the preeminent radio and outdoor advertising organization of the twenty-first century, owned by Viacom Inc. Viacom is one of the largest media companies in the world; including radio, television, outdoor, internet, cable, motion pictures, publishing, entertainment and more. We do this by creating co-marketing partnerships among synergistic companies to stretch marketing dollars and build brand equity.
How does Habitat work? Habitat provides low-income owner-occupied housing by building modest homes with a maximum of donated labor and material. These homes are sold to working low-income families (ideally at 50% of less of the median income) with a 20-year, no-interest, noprofit mortgage. The families chosen to purchase a Habitat home must contribute 500 hours of labor called sweat equity to qualify for the program by helping to build their own or others homes, offering community service or working on other Habitat projects. Funds received from mortgage payments are then recycled into building additional homes. Contributions to Habitat are treated as tax-exempt contributions by the IRS because Habitat is a 501C3 organization, which qualifies it as a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization. How does a Your Company benefit from partnering with Habitat and IPG San Diego? Wells Fargo can benefit by joining forces with the most recognizable nonprofit homebuilder in the nation and one of the strongest San Diego media partners who can provide recognition for your organization throughout the San Diego community. Partnership also may include volunteer construction days, recognition in promotional materials and customized radio appearances at building sites. Experience has shown that families, neighborhoods, communities and cities change in a positive way using this approach. The net result provides a long-range solution to building San Diego family and community stability.
