Learning Objectives After attending the Symposium on Clinical Interventional Oncology (CIO), participants should be able to: Perform catheter-based procedures to treat solid tumors, using the latest techniques and technologies. Assess the most appropriate therapeutic agent in catheter-directed therapy for hepatic malignancies. Demonstrate appropriate decision-making skills and techniques in ablation involving tumors of the kidney, bone, liver, and lung. Apply appropriate technique and biomarker testing of percutaneous biopsies. Determine the most appropriate imaging modalities during assessment, treatment, and follow up of patients. Provide improved patient care by applying the knowledge and experience of experts in the field of interventional oncology. Analyze the evidence behind the various modalities utilized in interventional oncology.
