EXHIBITOR CATEGORIES There are three approved Fan Fair X Exhibitor categories Industry, Emerging Artist and Marketplace and each has its own qualifying criteria, pricing and timeline for application submission. Applicants must meet the criteria for their appropriate category to be considered for Exhibit Space. See following pages for details on each category. SHOW DATES/TIMES Load-in Wednesday, June 7 from 8:00am-10:00pm Show day Thursday, June 8 from 9:30am-5:00pm Show day Friday, June 9 from 9:30am-5:00pm Show day Saturday, June 10 from 9:30am-5:00pm Show day Sunday, June 11 from 9:30am-5:00pm Load out Sunday, June 11 from 5pm-10pm RULES & REGULATIONS Exhibitor must adhere to all Rules & Regulations, which will be provided in full if exhibit space is secured. A few things to note before applying:! No booth sharing. Only the approved exhibitor may appear or be promoted within the exhibit.! Exhibit must be manned during all operating hours of Fan Fair X.! Artist participation is prohibited in Marketplace Exhibits. ADDITIONAL SHOW INFORMATION Additional show information such as booth numbers, show floor plan, order forms for internet, telecommunications, carpet, audio/visual, furniture, catering, cleaning and more will be provided to approved Exhibitors by mid April. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS All confirmed Exhibitors must comply with specific insurance requirements, details of which are included in the Exhibitor Agreement. General Liability - Exhibitors are required to purchase general liability coverage through CMA s exhibitor insurance program at a cost of $100, which will be included on Exhibitor Invoice. Workers Compensation/Employee Liability - Exhibitors are required to provide verification of compliance with applicable state laws. Automotive Liability - Exhibitors are required to provide documentation of commercial or personal automotive liability insurance coverage for vehicles used during load-in/load out. RESTRICTED EXHIBITORS Mass media outlets (including all print, web/online, and broadcast television) will be reviewed for relevance to attendees. Syndicated Country radio programs and station groups representing Country radio are considered on a case-by-case basis. Non-Country personalities, including TV and film actors, authors, web/online personalities, and reality celebrities will be reviewed for relevance to attendees. Exhibits featuring deceased artists will be reviewed for relevance to attendees. Industry companies such as Publicity and/or Marketing firms will not be considered for exhibit space. Other Festivals/Destinations will not be considered for exhibit space. Political groups will not be considered for exhibit space. Trade associations dedicated to a specific genre of music will be reviewed for relevance to attendees. Because CMA Music Festival benefits music education programs on behalf of participating artists, non-profit exhibitors are limited to the CMA Foundation and partner programs. June 8-11, 2017 page 2 of 6 INDUSTRY APPLICATION PROCESS DEADLINE: MARCH 24, 2017 at 5:00PM/CT! Industry applications will be accepted until 5:00PM/CT on March 24, 2017.! Application submission does not guarantee exhibit space.! CMA Membership does not guarantee exhibit space.! All applications received prior to deadline will be evaluated and considered by the Exhibit Council.! All industry applicants will be notified of their official status no later than March 31, 2017.! If accepted, an Exhibitor Agreement and invoice will be issued for the remaining balance due. Exhibitor Agreement must be signed and returned within 10 business days after issuing. Within 30 days after issuing, Exhibitor must provide required insurance documentation and invoice must be paid in full. If Exhibitor does not comply within stated time, exhibit space will be forfeited.! Sponsor / Brand Partner Logo Guidelines Approved Industry Exhibitors who wish to display the logo of any brand partner within Exhibit, must have CMA approval in advance to ensure there is no conflict with existing national CMA partners. Any approved brand logos may only be displayed in one location within the exhibit with a maximum size of 12 x12. Any brand logos displayed on-site that have not been approved by CMA in advance or exceed the size limit will be promptly removed from the Exhibit. INDUSTRY EXHIBIT SPACE PRICING contact CMA for pricing on larger sizes 10x10 $500 10x30 $1,500 10x20 $1,000 10x40 or 20x20 $2,000 10x10/10x20 Price Includes: Crowd Control Stanchions 10x30/10x40/20x20 Price Includes: Two (2) 6 Black Skirted Tables Four (4) Chairs Crowd Control Stanchions Industry CMA Member Discount Current CMA members qualify for a 50% discount on Exhibit Fee. To qualify for the discount, applicant must be a current CMA member at time of application submission. (Note that the CMA membership process may take 6-8 weeks for processing before membership is considered current.) If application is successful, the discount will be applied to remaining Exhibit Fee. INDUSTRY CRITERIA Applicant must meet criteria in one of the three categories listed below to qualify as an Industry applicant. Documentation to verify Applicant meets criteria must be attached to application in order for application to be considered. 1. ARTIST - Applicant is an artist who has achieved one of the following: At least one (1) career Top 40 single on the Country charts of Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart or the Country Aircheck Chart At least one (1) charted Top 40 album (digital or commercial) with sales of at least 150,000 units Artist member inducted to the Country Music Hall of Fame Meet & Greet guidelines for Artists: The Artist who has met the criteria and been approved for exhibit space is the only Artist that may be promoted and appear in the exhibit. 2. RECORD LABEL Applicant is an established Record Label with at least one artist on its roster that has achieved one of the artist criteria listed above and whose sole business is to sell and promote music. Meet & Greet guidelines for Record Labels: Only Artists officially signed to Label may appear in exhibit. In addition, the qualifying artist (one that meets the above Artist criteria) is required to appear in the exhibit to meet fans. 3. VENUE Applicant is a Venue whose primary focus is to promote/advance Country Music through live performances. Meet & Greet guidelines for Venues: Artists that appear in a venue exhibit, must be relevant to venue and have performed at said venue between March 2016 and March 2017. CMA reserves the right to limit the number of artists appearing in venue exhibit.

June 8-11, 2017 page 3 of 6 EMERGING ARTIST APPLICATION PROCESS DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 24, 2017 at 5:00PM/CT! Emerging Artist applications will be accepted until 5:00PM/CT on Friday, February 24, 2017.! CMA Membership does not guarantee exhibit space.! Applicants who meet the criteria are not automatically guaranteed exhibit space. Due to limited space, we routinely receive more qualified applicants than space allows.! All Emerging Artist applications will be reviewed together. Applicants will be notified of their status no later than Friday, March 10, 2017.! NOTE: Emerging Artist applicants who have previously exhibited three (3) or more years will be reviewed only as space allows.! If accepted, an Exhibitor Agreement and invoice will be issued for the remaining balance due. Exhibitor Agreement must be signed and returned within 10 business days after issuing. Within 30 days after issuing, Exhibitor must provide required insurance documentation and invoice must be paid in full. EMERGING ARTIST Applicant is an artist who has achieved at least one of the following: At least one (1) career Top 50 single on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart or the Country Aircheck Chart At least one (1) charted Top 50 album (digital or commercial) with sales of at least 150,000 units At least fifty (50) concert appearances at 50 different live performance venue locations between January 2016 February 2017 At least 10,000 followers on Facebook official artist page At least 8,000 followers on Twitter Application Attachment Applicant must attach ONE pdf file with a comprehensive view (examples below) of how Applicant meets the criteria and any additional material the Exhibits Council may find useful in reviewing Artist. For instance, you could attach a PDF that has the following pages: - Cover letter outlining Artist bio and why he/she is a good candidate for Exhibit space. This is your opportunity to sell your Artist! - A copy of the official qualifying chart that includes chart location, date, etc. - Schedule of concert appearances (January 2016 February 2017) including venue location - A screen shot of Facebook/Twitter page with number of followers clearly shown - Any additional information you think the Exhibits Council may find helpful in reviewing Artist information. Meet & Greet guidelines for Emerging Artists: The Emerging Artist who has met the criteria and been approved for exhibit space is the only Artist that may be promoted and appear in the exhibit. All Emerging Artist applicants will be reviewed together after the application deadline and notified by Friday, March 10, 2017.

June 8-11, 2017 page 4 of 6 MARKETPLACE DESCRIPTION EARLY BIRD RATE DEADLINE: JANUARY 27, 2017 at 5:00PM/CT FINAL DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 24, 2017 at 5:00PM/CT The Marketplace is a curated, family-friendly shopping experience at Fan Fair X located inside the Music City Center. The Marketplace is intended for independent merchants to sell their products. CMA does not take a percentage of sales but exhibitors are required to pay sales tax on items sold. No meet & greets or any Artist participation may take place in the Marketplace. Marketplace applications received by 5:00PM/CT on Friday, January 27, 2017 will qualify for a 20% early bird discount and will be considered for an early review / early decision. CMA will continue to accept applications up until February 24, 2017 in the event of available space. MARKETPLACE RESTRICTIONS The Music City Center has exclusive food & beverage vending rights. Any organization/company who applies under the Marketplace category and wishes to sell or sample food & beverage products, is subject to approval by the Music City Center and CMA. The application fee is non-refundable in the event that the Music City Center and/or CMA in its sole discretion declines food/beverage sales or sampling. The Marketplace is not intended for national brands, regional brands, or organizations/companies that wish to showcase their products solely through an experiential activation and without retail functionality. These exhibits fall under the umbrella of CMA Partnerships. Questions can be addressed through partnerships@cmaworld.com. Any Exhibitor who wishes to display the logo of any brand partner within Exhibit, must be approved by CMA before Friday, April 28 to ensure there is no conflict with existing national CMA partners. Any approved brand logos may only constitute 20% of Exhibit branding. At least 80% of Exhibit branding must be for the exhibit. Any brand logos displayed on-site that have not been approved by CMA in advance or exceed the 20% limit will be promptly removed from the Exhibit. Prohibited merchandise (either for sale or for promotional giveaway) includes all unauthorized CMA-branded merchandise and any unlicensed merchandise bearing the names (including truncated names such as Merle or Willie or Cash ), images or trademarks of any Artist or Band, song lyrics/titles and/or album titles or artwork or any similarly infringing materials. Any vendor selling or otherwise distributing such merchandise will be required to produce written evidence of a valid license to use such images or vendor will be required to promptly remove merchandise from exhibit. MARKETPLACE APPLICATION PROCESS! Marketplace applications received by 5:00PM/CT on Friday, January 27, 2017 will qualify for a 20% early bird discount and will be considered for an early review / early decision.! Marketplace applications will be accepted up until 5:00PM/CT on Friday, February 24, 2017 and will be reviewed as space allows.! Application submission does not guarantee success in securing exhibit space.! If accepted, an Exhibitor Agreement and invoice will be issued for the remaining balance due. Exhibitor Agreement must be signed and returned along with half of the balance due within 30 days or exhibit space will be forfeited. Final balance will be due no later than Friday, April 7, 2017.! All space assignments are solely made by the Exhibit Council. REQUIRED APPLICATION ATTACHMENT Applicant must attach ONE file (PDF, Word or Powerpoint) to their Marketplace application. Multiple documents will not be accepted. ONE document will be reviewed by the Exhibits Council and should contain pertinent exhibit information such as exhibit name, a description of the product line, price points, other shows applicant has been a vendor with, as well as applicable photos of exhibit set-up. Each 10x10 has one aisle side and shares the other side wall with another exhibit. Marketplace 10x10 exhibitors will have black back drape eight feet (8 ) in height and side drapes three feet (3 ) in height. See diagram above for illustration of layout and provided drape. EXHIBITOR BUILD-OUT RESTRICTIONS Marketplace 10x10 exhibitors must comply with specific build-out restrictions. Exhibitor may not construct full side walls. The back wall of the Exhibit display may be constructed by Exhibitor to a maximum height of twelve feet (12 ). Sidewalls extending no more than four feet (4 ) from the back wall may be constructed to a maximum height of twelve feet (12 ) and the remaining six feet (6 ) of each sidewall may be constructed to a height of no more than four feet (4 ) to maintain lateral line of sight requirements. All exhibit contents and displays must be contained within the 10x10 exhibit footprint. If exhibitor wishes to build full side walls, exhibitor will be required to secure a 10x20 or 20x20, which does not have the same sightline requirements. Marketplace 10x20 and 20x20 exhibit details below. MARKETPLACE EXHIBIT SPACE 10x20 Exhibit Size: 10x20 Exhibit Price: $4,000 10x20 Price Includes: One (1) Exhibitor Parking Pass (Provided Layout) MARKETPLACE 10x20 PROVIDED LAYOUT (SEE DIAGRAM) Each Marketplace 10x20 exhibit has two corners! Each 10x20 has two aisle sides as well as the front aisle. Marketplace 10x20 exhibitors will have black back drape eight feet (8 ) in height and optional side drapes three feet (3 ) in height. See diagram above. EXHIBITOR BUILD-OUT RESTRICTIONS Marketplace 10x20 exhibitors must comply with specific build-out restrictions. Exhibitors may construct back wall and each of the two side walls of the Exhibit display up to a maximum height of twelve feet (12 ). The front may not be completely built out.
