Three sessions were held for students. They learned what is done in the course of a normal day, the benefits and drawbacks of this career and what path they can follow to this career. Emma Bowen Foundation- The program entitles one student to receive an hourly salaried internship for four consecutive summers and a scholarship for college. The student selects a department to learn the many aspects of the operation and station specific skills. The station has the opportunity to train and mentor the student with the option of full time employment upon completion of their college career. The 6-7 Intern attends Howard University.
