Essay Questions... A) The positional duties and how you would accomplish them? I will oversee the Contingency, Leadership, and Flash Card Account, I will attend meeting and record the minutes for the term, I will assist the hall directors, and assist anyone else in need. I will have office hours a different times of the day to help run the rental program and record all transactions accordingly. In addition to the rental program, I will distribute on campus marketing mail and coordinate the care packages and distribution of them. To the best of my knowledge these are the duties and responsibilities as the Director of Business Operations. B) Your goals for the position and plans to achieve them? As the Director of Business Operations, I will accurately maintain the financial records of the Kent Interhall Council. This will be accomplished using the approved financial methods. Additionally I will oversee, assist, help organize and deliver the on campus marketing material as well as the care package program to help assure timely process and delivery of the items.

C) Personal benefits you will get from this position? This position will allow me to grow and be part of the active team on campus. By being the Director of Business Operations, I will gain additional experience in the financial side of a business. While I am new to the Kent Interhall Council, I am an active member on campus, a proven leader, and have the experience in this field and activities. This position will open new doors for positive, personal, and professional growth. It will also allow me to mentor new members of the KIC body while ensuring financial security with a positive environment. D) How the organization with benefit from having you in this role? The organization will benefit from me being the Director of Business Operations due to the similar experiences in leadership and finances. I am open minded individual who enjoys meeting people and trying new things. I will follow the accepted practices of record keeping. I will update and maintain all records and request forms. I will produce weekly status reports and month end reports. I will Promote and support a external audit of my records and will be fiscally responsible of the funds to allow most benefit for the dollars generated and provided.

E) Why you think getting involved on campus is important? I believe that getting involved on campus is important because it creates pride and ownership in the community that we live in. College should be a place where individuals can try new things and new experiences in a safe and positive environment. I believe that people should put themselves out there and try something new. F) Your leadership style and approach? I am a open minded and collaborative style leader while being, effective and efficient with my timeline and task. I truly believe that together as a group we are much stronger than as individuals.
