They are furthermore aware of the necessity to encourage sustainable development and to improve the situation of civil societies. Its educational portfolio focuses on imparting skills for decision-making and taking action with a view to Europe. Its seminars, meetings and conferences aim to equip participants with the information they need to take action constructively and critically, in Europe, with Europe and for Europe. Come together to create Europe is therefore not just its motto, but lived reality. Over 9000 guests per year from Europe and all over the world participate in its seminars, colloquia, conferences, dialogue forums and expert conferences. The Academy is a conference and meeting centre and therefore a place for people from all over the world to meet and exchange ideas. Many German and international companies and institutions value the opportunity to hold meetings here or work in smaller groups with all of the amenities they desire. Intercultural seminars in cooperation with the Franco-German Youth Office, binational and multinational seminars with German and international partners and the Public Speaking plus seminars offered by the Institute for Public Speaking and Methodology are key elements of the educational centre. Furthermore, the Academy offers a multitude of events for its cooperation partners and other interested parties. Fischer Verlag publishing house). The issue of Sustainability has been the working priority of the foundation since 2005.
