ABOUT PLACEMENTS Consistently ranked as one of the Best B Schools in the country, the Summer Placement season of the 2016 18 batch at International Management Institute, New Delhi was a true testament to the rich quality and diversity of the students of the institute. Staying true to its vision of shaping global leaders of tomorrow, the highly professional students were rewarded with lucrative opportunities at various leading organisations of the country. The improvement in profiles offered by these companies was a reflection of the meteoric growth the institute has achieved over the years. Some of our recruiters include Adidas, Asian Paints, Anand Group, BMW, Capgemini, Crisil, DCM Shriram, Emami, EY, Future Group, Genpact, GEP, Havmor, HSBC, HUL, 49IKEA, Nestle, Perfetti Van Melle, Piramal Group, Reliance Industries Ltd, RPSG, RPG, RBS, Shopclues, TATA Housing, Sony MSM, Wipro, Yes Bank. In all 107 companies have participated in the Summer Placements at IMI, New Delhi's campus to recruit from a batch of 364 students comprising of 243 in the flagship PGDM program, 56 in PGDM Human Resources program and 65 in the PGDM Banking & Financial Services program. The students got opportunities in the following sectors: Automobile, BFSI, Consulting, e Commerce, FMCG, FMCD, IT and ITES, Manufacturing, Media, Pharmaceutical, Retail. We would also like to take this opportunity to express gratitude to our Alumni for their unconditional support and guidance in making the summer placements successful. PLACEMENT OVERVIEW PGDM BFSI: IMI, New Delhi, a favoured business school amongst the BFSI sector, saw a surge in the number of opportunities offered by CRISIL, DHFL Pramerica, Em Kay Global, Future Generali, HSBC, HDFC Bank, L&T Finance, RBI, RBS, Rubique, SBI Cards, Tata Capital and Yes Bank among others. A total of 25% of the batch opted to pursue an internship in this sector. IT/ITES: With 12% of the batch opting for an internship in the IT/ITES sector, IMI, New Delhi witnessed a surge of companies offering upgraded profiles in this sector. The major recruiters from this sector were Capgemini, Cvent, Digiqom, HCL, Hughes Systique, Mahindra Comviva, Sapient Nitro, Wipro and many more. e-commerce: 9% of the students opted to pursue their internships in the e Commerce industry. Some of our recruiters include Book my Show, Crown IT, Droom, Shopclues among others. FMCG/FMCD/Retail/Pharmaceutical: The presence of the biggest of the brands of this sector is a testimony of the stupendous placement season this year. Exemplary profiles were offered by many companies such as Adidas, Asian Paints, Blue Star, Emami, Future Group, Havmor, HUL, IKEA, Nestle, Perfetti Van Melle, Panasonic, Piramal Group, RPSG and many more in this sector. 23% of the batch was offered an opportunity to pursue their internships in the sector. Manufacturing/Automobile: IMI, New Delhi saw a growing number of companies from the Manufacturing and Automobiles sector to recruit the students. Some of the major recruiters like Anand Group, BMW, DCM Shriram, Friends Steel, Uttam Galva and Reliance Industries Ltd offered splendid opportunities to our students. About 8% of the students opted to pursue their internships in this sector. Consulting: IMI, New Delhi had the privilege of hosting various companies in the consulting business. The batch had 13% students opting for a career in this sector with major recruiters being EY, Genpact, GEP, Mercer, Wipro and many more.

Media & Others: There were companies visiting the campus from various other sectors such as media as well. The major recruiters from these sectors were Cinepolis, Digiqom, JWT, Sony MSM, Urban Ladder and various others. PGDM Sector wise Split 6% 4% 8% 25% 13% 9% 12% 23% BFSI IT/ITES Consulting FMCG/FMCD/Pharmaceuticals/Retail E Commerce Manufacturing & Automotive BANKING & FINANCIAL SERVICES IMI, New Delhi had its third batch of PGDM BFS applying for Summer Internship Programmes. The students were able to portray their competence, consequentially establishing the faith of the recruiters on the capability of the students. 72% of the students opted for an internship in the Banking and Finance Services sector, 9% opted for similar profiles in the Consulting sector, 5% in the Manufacturing & Automobile sector, 5% in the FMCG / FMCD / Retail / Pharmaceuticals and 9% in other sectors. The prominent recruiters were Capgemini, EY, Future Generali, HDFC, L&T Finance, ICICI Prudential Life, IDBI Federal, Panasonic, RBS, TATA Capital, Yes Bank and various others. HUMAN RESOURCE The growing stature of IMI Delhi's dedicated HR Program attracted opportunities for the batch in the Manufacturing & Automobile sector (25%), Consulting (28%), E Commerce (13%), IT/ ITES (11%), BFSI (10%), FMCG / FMCD / Retail / Pharmaceuticals (9%), Media (2%) and others (2%). The students were offered internships by companies such as Anand Group, BMW, Capgemini, Concentrix, DCM, Genpact, L&T Finance, Mercer, Reliance Industries Limited, Sapient Nitro, SBI Cards, Taxi Vaxi, Urban Ladder, Uttam Galva and various others.
