The Marketing and Strategic Analysis of Organisations Research Unit (LAMSO) Ecole Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion - Casablanca Organizes the 2 nd edition of CIMSO CALL FOR PAPERS International Conference on Organisations Management and Strategy 2 nd CIMSO 2018, LAMSO, ENCG-CASABLANCA, MOROCCO On the theme: "Models and Strategies for Economic Development of Art & Perspectives" in Africa: State 5 & 6 May 2018 Ecole Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion - Casablanca Themes and Objectives Several researchers and authors have been studying, for more than a decade, the richness of the African continent (Barthélémy, 2017), which is actually regarded as investment opportunities. Many experts also stated that Africa would experience the greatest economic growth of the 21st century (Nubukpo, 2016). Accordingly, a large number of countries have emerged as important investors such as China, UK or Turkey, as well as African countries, mainly South Africa (1 st investor) and Morocco (2 nd investor). In fact, Africa has been at a crossroad over the past five years: sluggish global growth and rising global trade on the one hand, and unstable commodity prices on the other. This unpredictable cocktail has put an impressive pressure on the continent as every point of growth counts. The theme of CIMSO s second edition focuses on the analysis of models and strategies for the economic development in Africa and addresses the following questions: 1. What are the specific features of African countries development model? 2. How political, economic and social factors impacting directly African countries development can be characterized? 3. Which mode of political and economic governance is mostly appropriate to the development and growth of African countries? 4. How political diplomacy can be supported by a real economic diplomacy? 5. How the growing financing needs of African countries can be met while facing climate change and energy constraints?

6. How different stakeholderss interests and sustainable development objectives in Africa might be reconciled? 7. How will trade flows between major African partners and their foreign counterparts progress? 8. How forecasts of these flows can be provided by sector, nature of goods, and country? 9. How exchanges on finding efficient solutions to the issue of transportation and logistics in Africa can be enhanced? We invite all participants to submit a paper in the range of the following streams within the CIMSOin Africa. 2018 program: Growth and economic development strategies of African countries. The role of human resources in corporate competitiveness in Africa. Marketing as a source of business development and growth in Africa. The role of financing in the corporate performance and competitiveness Management information systems for growth and business development in Africa. The impact of innovation on business growth and development in Africa. The CSR environment and the strategies of African companies. Governance and social responsibility of multinationals in Africa. Natural resources and sustainable economic development. Internationalization of the transportation and logistics sector. These topics are indicative. All papers on managerial practices and sustainable development are welcome. This conference is resolutely transdisciplinary and paves the way for researchers from all horizons. The organizers are also seeking cross-analysis papers on North/Southh practices in relation to the issues raised. The scientific committee will study all proposals related to LAMSO (Marketing and Strategic Analysis of Organizations Research Unit) areas of research: marketing, CSR and sustainable development, governance, strategy, management information systems, innovation, performance, competitiveness, HRM, quality management and environment.
