Honor Unit Awards Instructions What are Honor Unit Awards? Honor Unit Awards were established to recognize units that have achieved the highest standards of responsibility and organization. latinum, Gold, Silver Bronze levels will be awarded to the units at the last Us meeting of the year in June. This meeting is referred to as the IN OUT Ceremony and Awards. It is called the IN OUT because it is a time to welcome the IN coming officers and thank the OUT going officers. The Award of erit level recognizes those units who are working hard to get their unit in compliance with the requirements needed to keep in good standing. All awards are issued at the discretion of the Leadership Team. The table below and on the next page will be used by the Leadership Team (resident, Vice resident, Dir. of Leadership and Area Advisors) to determine the award level of the units at the end of the year. If you would like to achieve a certain award, please make sure to complete all the requirements for that level. All equired items (those with an listed next to them on the Honor Unit Form HUF) UST be turned in regardless of award level. These items are passed on up the line to District, State and National TA and show that your unit is in good standing. The latinum Award level gives special recognition to those units who make the effort to complete all the items that go towards enhancing the successfulness of a unit. It is geared toward the units who like the feeling of accomplishment that comes from challenging work.
