Prepare for Requirements Does the program require a test? GRE GMAT LSAT MCAT CBEST CSET When should you take the exam? Before your application deadline Will you take it more than once? Study and be familiar with the test! Have test score sent to every program you are applying to
Application Read instructions Know application requirements Adhere to all deadlines Do not wait until the last minute! Submit all required materials BEFORE the deadline Application does not need to be completed in one sitting Start application to look at requirements
Letters of Recommendation Ask a professor or individual that knows you well and what you want to do Make requests courteously Ask well before the deadline Make the request in person and in writing, with full name, program you are applying to Most recommendations are submitted online If you need a hard copy, ask for more than one Follow up! If the letter hasn t been submitted, to say thank, you and when you are accepted
