Practices: 1-2 times per week with like age group. No tournaments Past V-Hawk Xtreme participants have gone on to make high school teams and sliver and Adidas level teams with our club. Cost is $350. Full Junior Badger Region Membership required. Covers gym fees, insurance, and coaches salaries. This breaks down to roughly $6-$7 per hour for instruction.

Playing Time What s the V-Hawk Xtreme philosophy on playing time? The rule is that the team comes first. With that said, we understand that no team can reach its potential without every player on the team having a role in the team s success. All playing time is at the coaches discretion, but we realize that every family has a financial investment made in club volleyball. Every Xtreme player is given the chance to increase their playing time though the practice environment. At V-Hawk Xtreme, on our National Program teams and Adidas Teams, we believe playing time is earned, not given. Xtreme s dues guarantee our athletes quality coaching, practice time, physical training and the very best skill training in the Coulee Region. An athlete s playing time is based on several criteria: being coachable, being a good teammate, practice performance, match performance, injury/sickness, skill progression and practice attendance. These teams roughly follow the 30% rule, but will defer to the coaches discretion as needed. V-Hawk Xtreme s Regional Program teams playing time will follow a 30% rule. All players on the team will receive playing time in a minimum of 30% of pool play games played during a tournament as long as they meet the same set criteria listed above for the National Program teams. The exception is if a team makes the Gold Bracket of a tournament. The policy becomes play to win and the coaches discretion determines playing time.

Issues that may Arise Please do not forget and step across your boundaries ISSUES- perceived playing time issues, coaching issues, player/player issues Do not bring them up at practice or games If you have issues, need to contact me and coach and we along with you and your daughter will sit down and talk about things PLEASE NOTE: Be careful on questions you ask, because I will be brutally honest with you, if your daughter is not getting it done- with her play, attitude, commitment, whatever it may be, I will tell you-i am not here to make you feel good, I am here to make this program and your daughter better

Roles Many of you have heard this before, sports has generated different roles for everyone Coach- teach and communicate with players Player- play and learn, ask questions and communicate with coach Official- ref Parent- support/cheer

Parent Reps Each team will have a Parent Rep Eric Eade will be the main Parent Rep for the entire club He will contact all Parent Reps with information needed Role of Parent Rep Hotels for the team Rides Food at tournaments Chaperone athletes unaccompanied by parent or gaurdian
