Course title: Essential Cardiac Skills (ECS) The aim of the training is to develop the skills required to care for a deteriorating patient, specifically with medical complications encountered within the specialities of cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery. The scenarios will relate to the core / essential cardiac competencies contained in the cardiac competency book and Band 5 Cardiac Pathway thus enabling us to support and develop a more flexible workforce.
