On-Site Training Request Process Daikin AC University will begin a new process and pricing schedule for on-site training effective June 1, 2011. This process applies to both sales and service training. Please review the process and costs that will be implemented. On-site Training Defined A Daikin authorized trainer provides training at a customer office or training site (not an install jobsite) for sales or service training. Not all classes can be trained on-site. Please contact training@daikinac.com for course selections. Customized classes are available and must be approved by the Training Manager. On-Site Training Process On-site training requests must be directed to training@daikinac.com a minimum of four weeks prior to the desired date of training no exceptions Initial requests may be submitted via email with the following information: requesting company and contact name; location of training; name, phone and email of the contact person; desired training date(s); type of course; and name of preferred Daikin trainer Upon receipt of the initial request, the training administrator contacts the appropriate trainer to check availability and determine possible training date(s) based on availability The training administrator contacts the customer with date(s), costs and other details of the training and confirms date(s) The training administrator sends the On-Site Training Request form to the requestor to be completed in it s entirety; requestor returns the completed form along with payment to the training administrator a minimum of two weeks prior to training date Once payment is received, the training administrator sends materials to the training site via UPS Ground; the customer is responsible for the costs of training materials, shipping and any expedited shipping charges The training administrator notifies customers, sales engineer, trainers and all other parties involved of confirmed and final date(s) and sends Outlook calendar invites to the trainer and other appropriate Daikin personnel The customer will be responsible for providing food and drinks for the class attendees On-Site Sign In Sheets must be submitted to the training department by noon on day of training to receive Certificates of Completion for authorized Daikin AC University courses On-Site Sign In Sheets must be submitted to training@daikinac.com or faxed for ALL on-site training classes within one week of date of training Slide 4
On-Site Training Request Process On-Site Training Guidelines On-Site training requests must be received via email at: training@daikinac.com a minimum of four weeks before the desired training date The completed On-Site Training Request form along with payment for on-site training must be received a minimum of two weeks prior to the date of training to avoid expedited shipping costs If a request is received by someone other than the training administrator, it should be immediately forwarded to the training administrator for processing On-Site Training Costs The cost of the class is determined by travel time of the trainer, travel costs, trainer daily fees, and number of attendees. Every effort should be made to travel and train in one day to minimize costs All costs are based on a four-week minimum lead time with 10-20 class attendees On-site requests with less than the required four-week lead time will not be considered On-site classes with more than 10-20 people may result in a higher cost Slide 5
