Has negotiated and inked the "Aman Ki Asha " agreement with Times of India and Jang group of Pakistan for operating Pakistani children with heart diseases in India & under "healing little hearts program" vvhich he co-started. Nearly 60 children from Pakistan have been operated and in total 865 children have been operated.

Most significant honors or achievements in business and professional activities: He is spearheading his banking and finance business and is the managing director of one of last few privately owned banks in India. He and his wife Sonal who is an architect set up the universal group of companies involved in construction of housing projects. It has constructed near 200 flats till date. He is the member of Hire Purchase Association and Federation of Hire Purchase Association in India. He was invited to participate in hire purchase and leasing workshop at Iim Ahmedabad. He has addressed many seminars on hire purchase and leasing. Most significant honors or achievements in civic and public service activities: Has spearheaded the shelter kit program, under which nearly 8000 shelter kits have been distributed to flood and earthquake victims. Has personally distributed 900 kits in Nepal during earthquake in 2015 and 2200 kits during floods in Bihar in 2009 & 2016. Also facilitated the construction of permanent houses for earthquake victims of Nepal. Has spearheaded the total literacy in India movement and under the TEACH program has negotiated and signed many MOUs with national and international organizations. To name a few, MOU with Lord Loomba Foundation, UK for vocational training and rehabilitation of 30,000 widows across India. With Tata Technologies for setting up E- Learning centers in Pune, Gujarat and across India, and with Nobel Laureate Kailash Sathyarthi Foundation for sending girls back to school. Under the TEACH program has facilitated sending back 30,000 children to schools, converted 1,500 schools into Happy Schools, setting up 12,000 E-Learning Centres, 28,000 Teachers trained, 73,000 adults made literate. Has motivated lnnerwheel Clubs to also adopt literacy as their national program and was invited to address the lnnerwheel Chairman Training Institute at Bhubneshwar in 2015. Addressed the Breakaway sessions at Rotary Conventions in Birmingham and Bangkok on Saheli Centers and Adult Learning. He patronized in high risk districts 10 Free Polio Corrective Surgery Camps serving nearly 500 Polio victims, more than 2500 community meetings in villages to increase health awareness, motivated various clubs providing sanitation, hand- wash and drinking water facility to 100 schools benefitting 8000+ girls/boys students. He is always available. Most significant honors or achievements in business and professional activities: Dr Tomer owns and manage his own multidisciplinary hospital, Dhanwantari Tomer Hospital, with different specialties and super specialties. He is well recognized senior surgeon experienced about 51,000 general surgery operations since 1973. He is director of Doctor's CT Scan & Stone center for last 23 years. During Master of Surgical studies at GVS Medical College, Kanpur, he was awarded 'Best House Officer' title. He served as Hony secretary of Red Cross Society during the years 1984 to 89 and president of Indian Medical Association in 1990 91. He is a member and past president of Association of Surgeons (1995 96) and UP Chamber of Commerce for 2 years (2011 13). He is well recognized by IMA Bareilly to support establish its Charitable Blood Bank in the year 1987 and chair its running committee for 4 years from the year 1994 till 1998. IMA Blood Bank is serving community continuously and catering 50,000 blood units and components yearly with its the most modern facility and absolutely voluntary blood donation.
