1. Participation Squadrons and Lonewolves that didn't already registered for Operation's Blue Flag previous rounds, can still do it through our website: www.buddyspike.net * Create an account on Enjin and then press Join Website from the upper right corner. To select your prefered side (RED or BLUE) submit an application after registering in the website. Applications link: http://www.buddyspike.net/blueflagreg - Depending on the side selected (blue or red) during registration, a player will have to type BLUE or RED in the DCS World chat the first time he joins the server. The Server then logs the registration and the player will be able to fly only with the selected side. * If you don't pick a side through the chat you won't be able to join aircraft slots ** If you selected wrong side please feel free to contact the Buddyspike Team to fix it. 2. RULES The Campaign will use the normal rules that most DCS World servers use plus some rules designed specific for Operation Blue Flag in order to ensure a better gameplay. Pilots shall pich the side they registered for once they enter the server. To do so they have to type RED or BLUE in the DCS Chat. Pilots shall use the available aircraft slots with the RED or BLUE tag. Attacking Airbases, FARPs and aircraft during ramp/taxi from them IS allowed Aircraft availability : BLUE SIDE : F-15C, M2KC, A-10C, A-10A, HAWK, Gazelle, UH-1H RED SIDE : SU-27, MiG-29S, MiG-29A, MiG-21, SU-25T, SU-25A, L-39C, LZ-39, KA-50, Mi-8 Weapons limitations (check changelog) *We hope everyone will respect the small number of rules. As this is a 24/7 Campaign we will monitor issues about rules violation after your reports in the Buddy Spike Forums and act accordingly.

3. Slot management The campaign uses a slot managment system depending on the airbases /FARPS status. Pilots can use the available aircraft slots with the RED or BLUE tag. Aircraft slot for blue Pilots example: The above aircraft slot is a general slot for blue pilots. The aircraft takes off from Anapa. This is known from the group name description and tag (AN). You can check the tags from the maps below. Aircraft slot for red Pilots example: The above aircraft slot is a general slot for red pilots. The aircraft takes off from Anapa. This is known from the group name description and tag (AN). You can check the tags from the maps below. 4.VICTORY CONDITIONS The Campaign will last maximum 16 days since its official start. (Ending on...) If a side manages to capture all Airbases / FARPs / Cities before the campaign ends then it will be declared victorius. If no side manages to capture all Airbases / FARPs / Cities before the 16 days period then the winner will be the side that owns the greater number of total captured assets (Airbases, FARPs, Cities) 5. DCS World Versions Operation Blue Flag uses the newest DCS World stable versions that are available from ED for the public version. The server will update each time an update will be available through the auto updater.

6. Campaign Features -24/7 Server The Server will be available on a 24/7 basis. Registered Squadrons & Lonewolves will be able to join. If not registered already you can through the Eagle Dynamics forums (Buddy Spike thread on the Multiplayer section). We use 373vFS or DCS Israel server with no password. (available in the servers list) -Aircraft Slots Tags Each aircraft slot, has a specific tag pointing to the airbase/farp that it takes off from. The slots are unavailable if the airbase/farp is captured by the enemy side. You can check them on the Briefing's map. (e.g. MO_red_SU-25T) -Fighters Need to refuel before Ramp Start SU-27's,MiG-29S & F-15C's need to refuel before Ramp start in order to force less and more strict shorties along with simulating a detailed Ramp start sequense. SU-27'S start with 20% fuel and F-15's with 0%. Both aircraft need ~5 minutes to refuel at 100%. Pilot's lifes limitation Each pilot will have a limitation on his daily "lives" in the mission. That means that if you get shot down more than the limit allows, then you will be able to fly again after some hours. The number of "lives" maintain the same if you land your aircraft back to any airbase or FARP. Each pilot has 4x lives for aircraft & 8x for choppers. Pilots can join GCI slots once they spent all available lives. Now your aircraft values more! Fly safe! Lives reset every 6 hours. * You don't lose live's if you don't take off and get destroyed in the airbase of FARP. (Vulching) - Fuel consuption system Each airbase starts with an initial amount of fuel (10.000 tons) which is stored in 2x bunkers. Sorties from these airbases decrease the amount of fuel. You can get real time information about each airbase's fuel capacity (only for captured airbases) through the Pak Info menu (F10 radio).to maintain fuel capacity during operations, both sides will have to refuel the airbases with transport helicopters (Mi-8's & UH-1H's). In order to transport fuel crates, the pilots will have to use CTLD menus, pick a fuel crate and then transport it to the desired airbase. Once landed the pilot must use again the CTLD menus and drop the fuel crate (no need to unpack the crate). - AI Fuel Transport aircraft If an airbase runs out of fuel, AI transport aircraft spawn from a near airbase in order to refuel it. If it succeeds it will deliver 5000 tons of fuel.

- Transport and deploy Air defence systems in the field Choppers can load and transport Air defence systems in order to deploy them in the field. The available Air defence systems are SA-6's. Helicopters must load Air defence crates, transport and unpack them in the same position (both Radar and launchers of the SA-6 system) to get it work. Once both units are deployed they will start engaging targets. Crates can t be unpacked within 10KM of a friendly pickup zone. SAM systems are limited by the number of captured cities. That means that a side won't be able to deploy more systems than the total number of the cities it owns. - Transport AI JTAC units AI JTACs are available for transport for choppers. When a JTAC is deployed in the field it can detect (if inside LOS) enemy targets and start automatically to provide lasing and smoke marks for CAS aircraft. -Recconnainse tasks / AI Bombers L-39C/ HAWK & GAZELLE pilots will be responsible of assigning targets to AI Bombers. The pilots will have to fly over an enemy target and call the Intel Menu from the F10 radio menu. Then select the Capture Intel. Next step is to head back to a friendly Airbase or FARP and land. Once landed the pilot must select the Deliver Intel option from the Intel Menu inside the F10 radio menu. Once the process is completed, AI Bombers will spawn over nearby friendly airbases and head to the targets. The bombers will generate a bombing run when over the targets. -Airbase/FARP Capturing System Both sides will be able to capture Airbases & FARPs & then operate from them. To capture an Airbase or FARP a side must destroy all the enemy ground units guarding and then land troops near it transported by UH-1H's or Mi-8's. - Mission will restart every 3 hours. -Transport Troops Mi-8's & UH-1H's are able to transport troops to the front. To load troops use the F-10 Radio Menu & CTLD options to select the type of troops you want to load. -Unload Troops Choppers can unload troops through the F-10 Radio menu. (You must load them first from AIRBASE or FARP which you takeoff from) -Captured Airbases slots / Slot Managment System Each time a side captures an airbase, they can operate from it with a specific number of aircraft. Each airbase offers a specific type of aircraft available after capturing. Capturing Airbases & FARPs will increase the number of available airframes and reduce the enemy's numbers.

-Cities Capturing System A number of key Cities will be marked in the Campaign Map as high value targets. Both sides will have to capture and hold them as this will be a part of the victory conditions. To capture a City a side has to land troops near it transported by UH-1H's or Mi-8's. Cities are marked with TV Towers. - When you capture an initially enemy city your side will get SAM & EWR also in it for better defence -Coordinates of FARPS/Cities position Coordinates of the FARPS & Cities position are available below, at the end of the briefing. -Repair System Each time a friendly or enemy asset is destroyed, it will start repairing after an amount of time (15-30 MINUTES). In order to stop an enemy asset from repairing it will have to be captured. *Destruction of the 2x bunkers in each airbase will disable the aircraft slots located in them. When they get repaired the aircraft slots will be available again. -Radar Intercept Fighters EWR's will scan the areas near the airbases. Each time there is a threat, AI Fighters will scrable to engage it. -Real time Situtation Messages During the missions the pilots will be informed about the situation of the Airbases, FARPs & Cities. -Waypoints : Bullseye Sochi Both sides have an initial waypoint to Sochi. Depending to the DCS Module you may have the ability to add manually waypoints. Otherwise you will be able to navigate by calculating distances from the F10 Map and your initialy waypoint (Sochi). -Mission Save Function As in our previous Campaigns the mission status will be saved real time. If the Server crashes for any reason, it will restart with the airbases, cities, FARPs and ground units status, as was just before the crash. -Real time web based map & gadget BuddySpike's real time web based map in which you can check the status of the Airbases, FARPs & Cities. Also you can check about announcemts & online pilots on the server. Link: http://gadget-buddyspike.rhcloud.com/
