Bark Lake Leadership Centre The Bark Lake Leadership Centre is a youth-focused outdoor education and leadership facility in the Haliburton Highlands. During the summer (May to August) we host several hundred students from around the world at Bark Lake. These student are part of an ESL program based in the Hamilton area. While at Bark Lake these students, hosted by the Colombia International College, are here to practice their english skills, develop both teamwork and leadership skills, and have an opportunity to experience the outdoors. As well as the CIC Summer Camp, we also host a number of adult groups throughout the summer, including artists groups, an adventure race, and several weddings. We are seeking counsellors, canoe trip leaders, nurses, and instructors for a variety of camp activities. Camp Kodiak Two great programs looking for seasonal staff! Camp Kodiak is a summer camp for children & teens and Club Kodiak is our corresponding program for young adults. We serve a population with learning disabilities, ADHD and high functioning autism. Both of our programs focus on social skills, and for our kids camp, we provide an academic program. Our young adult program contains an in depth life-skills component.
